Right, I'm creating a new server. First i'll need to assemble a team for pk2ing, developing and etc. My server will be focused on the ideas below, botting is allowed.


It will begin as 60 cap
60 CAP
Experience - 5x
SP - 10x
Drop Rates - 5x
Gold Rates - 10x
SoS - 10x, SoM - 5x, SuN - 3x (your probably wondering, why so high? It'll be explained later)


Then, when the majority of people have reached the 60cap, I'll create a poll, and if over 80% say they are capped, I'll move the server up to 70cap.

70cap -
Experience - 10x
SP - 15x
Drop Rates - 8x
Gold Rates - 14x
Sos - 8x, SoM - 4x, SuN - 2x

Then, once people 70 capped, I'll move it up to 80.

80cap-
Experience - 15x
SP - 20x
Drop rates - 10x
Gold rates - 15x
Sos - 6x
Som - 3x
Sun - 2x

Then, once the majority is 80,
Cap 90
Experience - 15x
SP - 25x
Drop Rates - 15x
Gold Rates - 25x
Sos - 5x
Som - 2x
Sun - 1x

Then, once majority is 90,
cap 100
Experience - 15x
Skill Points - 30x
Drop Rates - 20x
Gold Rates - 30x
Sos - 3x
Som - 1x
Sun - 1x

Then the server will stay at 100cap. Hopefuly this process from going from 60 cap to 100 cap will take around 3-4 months and keep players entertained. The server WILL be focused on jobbing for gold, the rates are yet undecided. Areas active will be Jangan, Donwhang, Hotan, and Roc Mountain. Once the cap has reached 80, Europe character will be activated, this gives europe enough time to 8/8 pt to reach cap at the same time as chinese do :-) Wizard skills will be downed, same with offering and etc. So euros will balanced with the chinese. There will be a wide variety of uniques, some new, some old. The avatars will be from 2010 backwards. (angel/devil wing, etc). Also, if I have enough time the system of *People 15 levels above a unique* cannot target&kill it will be implemented (if this is possible?) as a start server will be hamachi with few friends for closed beta, open beta i'll buy a route. For the closed beta I'll keep everybody updated with constant photos, videos & livestreams. There will be no easy way to gain sox without farming for them.

I think you should turn on European Characters already at Cap 80. Would be exactly like iSRO and the people would have enough time to level up in their EU Pt's.

The jobwar in isro lost its value at Cap 80, i don't like this idea how to earn gold.
In my opinion FW / GW / FGW / Jobtemple (Cap 110) / HWT (Cap 110) which are almost all based on PvP are the main things why people play Silkroad nowadays.

Everyone will try to get best items with 60cap, later when it get's 70, all 'best items' from 60cap will be rubbish. This idea actually won't keep players in your server. Updating level cap should not be that much quick, it should be done after months / even a year. Open a proper cap and stay that way.

As I explained in the main thread, the sox rate will be high at 60cap so everybody can get their stuff pimped and etc, once they reach 70cap the sox rate is lowered so they can be sun set at 60cap, and use that set & weapon in 70cap, because in 70cap the rates are lower and the chances of getting SoX are decreased.

Capped online was the exact same idea,started at cap 60 ( or 50 not sure) and wanted to increase cap to 70 80 90 .. but they failed hard because no1 were interested in low cap and low rates ....

My suggestion is : do not create too much servers , choice 1 server to play instaed of full servers with 20 online +
