Manually edit your isrobot filter

Due to popular demand.. 1 or 2 people lol but i think more people will use it over time!

ok first, go to where you installed your isro bot. Go into the conf folder. In here are 2 files by default or there are more if u have used the bot and saved some configs, but they are not loading anyway right?

SO SINCE THEY DONT LOAD, WE WILL EDIT THE DEFAULT FILTER, WHICH ARE THE SETTINGS THAT ARE LOADED AT THE START EACH TIME. THEREFORE YOUR FILTER WILL BE LOADED AS THE DEFAULT!

p.s this is the same for my skills guide now, edit the SRO.cfg instead of the your_characer_name.cfg. i will get around to changing it in the other thread too.

So right click on the filterPropName and select Edit. This should open it up in notepad.

now, there is a bunch of stuff there. lets look at the FIRST LINE ONLY

4 HP recovery herb 0 4 0 0 0

this is the setup for one item. so this is what each section means.

ITEM# - NAME - DONT WORRY - DONT WORRY - PICK - SELL - SAVE

the parts that say DONT WORRY, incase you cant tell, means IGNORE THOSE ONES.. basically all we are interested in are the NAME, PICK, SELL and SAVE parts.

So now with the numbers.

PICK
0 = dont pick
1 = pick

SELL
0 = dont sell
1 = sell
2 = sell normal (if the item has no + or blues or is sox)

SAVE
0 = dont save
1 = save
2 = save if special (if the item has + or blues or is sox)

so if we look at this:

186 Thief's Hook Glavie 18 1 1 0 1

what does it do? it will PICK (1 = pick) it, it will NOT SELL (0 = dont sell) it and it will SAVE it (1 = save)

so there you have it, now u can manually edit your filter.

However, you may notice that when you look at the filter there may be some parts when it looks like this:

58 Special Universal Pill (small) 0 4 1 0 0
61 Return Scroll 0 4 1 0 0

as you can see, the numbers dont match up against each other, just look at each one independently

58 Special Universal Pill (small) 0 4 1 0 0
61 Return Scroll 0 4 1 0 0

or if you find that hard to do, just read from right to left, it should make it easier. so the first number you see from going right to left will be save, then sell, then pick.

Hope this helped a bunch of people. and yes!! i know it will take a longggg time to do all of them, so i suggest you set your filter using the bot first, copy the whole filter file that was made with "your_character_name_FilterProp" paste it in the normal filterProp and just go over and check that the filter was made correctly.

ok since people are still having trouble with their configs here is mine. copy and paste it to filterPropName. But firstly heres what it does. It DOES NOT pick any pots besides vigors! I picks large universal pills! It picks ALL quest items including purification seeds! It picks all weapons, armour and jewlery and SAVES ALL OF THEM!! It sells shield elixirs and saves all other elixirs. it does not pick arrows!! It picks pretty much every tablet! It sells all tablets besides 8D int, str, steady and stamina! and thats it i think.. hope it works for yall.

Nice idea l33t but it does not work for me maybe i am doing sth wrong. Can u post your filter file plz. And what should be the filename: "charname"filterpropname.cf or filterpropname"charname".cf or filterprop"charname".cf? i tried every possible combination so i guess this is not the problem

yea the first one is the level, but people dont need to know that and dont care. but sometimes it switches with the DONT WORRY #2 so i dunno what it does lol but it doesnt matter.

It loads the file but still does not pick up the quest items ... Maybe the reason for this is sth that i cant influence.
I give up now and hope that others will be more successfull

yes, but as long as the version you are copying from is one after the euro update

you mean pet/horse recovery pots? i dont use this function anyway. i always run to my training place and if my wolf dies then too bad. if ur talkin about player pots, just use the built in sro potter ^_^
