Ok I didn't see any pure INT guides here at Epvp and I want this community to become bigger and better. So I decided to pull out my old guide and give it a update.
I can't stress this enough so I'll put it here and at the bottem: don't copy this without my permission! my previous version was found in all kind of crappy blogs and wannabe forums and most of the times a outdated version too. So do yourself a favor and just link to the source. (

1. What is a nuker??
I think the best way to describe a nuker is a magical based character that uses magical attacks called nukes. This guide will not cover the many hybrid variations, but only the pure int build variations that remain after the 90cap update.
2. Why make a nuker?
Well it’s the Chinese build that does the most dmg, levels the fastest and is the most diverse of all the build. You’ll get to use the most skills and the only thing that stands across it is that you have less hp.. but we’ll have some skills against that. And another downside is that you’ll need a lot of sp.. so you’ll have to do some farming. Also this is not covered in this guide. Just look at one of the many other guides about that subject. (which will be put up by me if they turned out missing)
3. Two different types of pure INT nukers
Ok first of ofcourse, you have the spear nuker which deals the most dmg and then second you have the s/s nuker which deals a bit less dmg but on the other hand your shield gives you a lot of extra defense.
I’m gonna describe the ideal builds for both of them.
4. building your nuker
Remember this is a pure int guide! So first of put ALL your points in INT don’t get str not even 1.. “but I want more hp.. but what if….” NO! don’t do it!! If you want a hybrid or more hp go read a hybrid int guide.. this is for pure cause imo pures rule and own…. and hybrids well let's just say that's a different story. So STR bad, INT good.. remember that
4.1 The force basics
This is what every pure INT imo should get. So get these 2 trees like this.. then you are gonna think what you want with it.
Lightning
- Thunder Force Series—Unless you got fire-tree maxed this is your strongest imbue.
- Piercing Force Series-- more mag attack power.. get it and max it.. no buts.
- Wind Walk Series-- Nukers need to be mobile so get this and max it.
- Lion Shout Series-- great for that final blow and for killing low lvl mobs and players because it's really fast.
- Concentration Series-- you get less dmg with this buff up, because it increases parry ratio.. so get it.
- Thunderbolt Force Series-- lightning nuke.. get it.
- Heaven Force Series-- passive - this one increases parry ratio so max it all the way.
Cold
- Cold Force Series—optional – I just got it for all chars that are not immune.
- Frost Guard Series—gives you extra phy def which you have little of since you’re a pure INT so max it.
- Cold Wave Attack Series-- pretty useless skill leave it.
- Frost Wall Series—optional – you can’t move while it’s up but it absorbs 1 or 2 phy attacks.
- Frost Nova Series-- This is a fun skill that can be pretty useful.. I would say get the first book. play with it.. then see if you like it.
- Snow Storm Series-- light nukes do more dmg.. but book 2 and 4 are pretty nice.. for multiple mob-attacks
- Snow shield series – Puts up a shield that lets your mp absorb a certain % of the dmg - max it
- Cold Armor Series-- passive again that increases phy def so max it.
ok now you got your base set up you can go and pick what you want to do with the other 120 mastery spots.
4.2 S/S nuker
This is not such a big dmg dealer as the spear nuker but the shield and the bicheon-skills give you a great deal of extra def, which you need badly as a pure INT. With some smart picked alchemy you can do very well with this build even at higher lvl's.(more about alchemy and gear in the "Gear-section further in the guide)
Because of the extra def (from the shield) you have 3 options with a s/s nuker
4.2.1 Option 1: Bicheon (light/cold)
Bicheon
- Smashing Series--- the lvl 71 book has a chance to give bleed. So max it. at70+
- Chain Series---the lvl 73 book has a chance to give impotent, bleed, division. But you don’t need all books for that book so just get the 1st, 2nd, 4th and 6th book.. even before 73 it can be pretty handy.. but it's not that important
- Castle Shield Series-- I love this skill saves your life when your hp gets low.. 1st and 3rd increases your phy def for 15sec <-- max those (great against STR players)
and 2nd and 4th book increases BR (doesn't work that great imo.. but I use it against INT or Wizz ) <-- optional - Blade Force Series---not really strong attack but the third book has 2 hits. Great for killing noobs with 1 skill that try to run on a horse

- Hidden Blade Series—Max it – this skill is also known as knockdown, it will save your life and deal dmg while doing it. one of your most important skills keep this as high as possible
- Killing Heaven Blade Series---- A must! get it and max it all the way. Allows you to stab the knockeddown enemy.
- Sword Dance Series--- this certainly is not a main skill, just a extra which I found usefull. So if you got sp left you can get this. It has a wider hit-area then the shouts and it's faster then the light nuke or 3rd fire-nuke or 2nd cold nuke. So for low lvl npc's or pulling mobs that are standing a little too far from eachother it's great. Both books at lvl 1 no need to go higher since your power will come from your imbue. 2nd book has a 15m2 area .. it's great ^^ you can max the first book if you want the 3rd book at lvl 1 too.. but wait till you get lvl 80+ for that.
- Bicheon Force Series gives you more phy att and lowers your phy def for 120sec.. works good against wizzards or pure INT's in 1vs1 - so optional
- Shield Protection Series--- passive..increases chance on a block.. so max it out.
And for the final 30 mastery spots you got left you can add 30 fire. This will allow you to become immune to different statuses like freeze, burn, shock, poison and zombie.
Fire
- fire shield – with the help of blue on your accessories you can become immune to some statuses like freeze, burn, shock, poison and zombie.
- firewall
4.2.2 Option 2: Fire (light/cold)
This options is also known as the forcenuker (fire/light/cold) personally I don’t like it cause the weapon skills gives you more def(iron wall, knockdown, impotent) and more dmg (bleed, devision). And also with just taking nukes that’s really all you will be doing, weapon skills is what makes this build so diverse and fun to play.
But as a support build or in groupwars you can do great. Since fire nukes are the strongest nukes and your mag def will be among the best of the game.
So here is how your fire tree should look.
Fire
- Fire Force Series--your imbue so max it.
- Fire Shield Series--- get this.. it's worth getting and carrying around a shield for it.. this will get you immune to ice if you do the alchemy right.
- Flame Body Series-- more phy attack.. and any extra dmg is good.. so get it (if you got the sp, so best is to wait till you are fully farmed)
- Fire Protection Series-- increases mag defence so get it.. great against nukers.
- Fire Wall Series-- you can't move with this wall up but it gives you some extra mag-hp and you can't get kd so i that's why i love this skill. I'll explain more about this skill below in the 'how to play a nuker' section.
- Flame Wave Series--- your nukes - max them
- Flame Devil Force Series-- passive.. always max it.. more phys attack.. so good
but again.. only if you got the sp. Your main concern is def and mag att. Then finally at the end phys attack.
4.2.3 Option 3: Force (light/cold)

4.3 Spear nuker
This build is the highest Chinese dmg dealer in the game. After about lvl 52 it will get hard to survive against a pure STR 1vs1 but with snow shield and good gear it can be done. And this build does realy good in PvE and if you got good ppl backing you up in group war, then you can have great fun with this build.
Anyway if you choose to go for this then this is how you should expand your force basics.
4.3.1 Option 1: Heuksal (light/cold)
Heuksal
- Annihilating Blade Series-- waste of sp.. don't get it.
- Fanning Spear Series—great skill that improves your mag def for 15sec. Great against nukers or wizards.
- Heuksal Spear Series—the last book has a chance to give dull. So get it and max it.
- Souls Depart Spear Series-- Max this it's the stun skill.. this will be one of your strongest skills.
- Ghost Spear Attack Series-- Great skill.. max it. It’s quick and has a chance of KB.
- Chain Spear Attack Series—Imo the dmg is to low and not fast enough so it's not worth the sp. Heuksal series is better but it’s optional.
- Flying Dragon Series—this skill is not very handy during 1vs1 cause nukes will be your main ranged attack, but if you need a quick blow that’s a bit stronger then lionshout then this might be handy. So if you got too much sp and dunno what to do with it? Then this is the skill to get

- Cheolsam Force Series-- extra hp so get it and max it!!
4.3.2 option 2: Fire (light/cold)
Fire
- Fire Force Series--your imbue so max it.
- Fire Shield Series--- get this.. it's worth getting and carrying around a shield for it.. this will get you immune to ice if you do the alchemy right.

5. Leveling faster by taking bow till lvl 30
Because you won’t have nukes below lvl 30 you can take bow (ONLY TILL LVL 30!!!!) cause it will be the fastest way to reach lvl 30 and start using your nukes. For details on how to do it look at the guide that neyo_adidas ripped from Cobbz.

Follow this guide till you are lvl 31.
(In time I'll just make my own version at this chapter cause I freaking hate rippers but I won't link to those F*** at SRF either.)
6. Gear
ok about gear. Well the most common thing you hear is to go armor. Which is nice.. cause you have low hp and phy def so armor will be a good choice. But my favourite is garment. Why?? because you get a speed buf, mp save and I think it looks cooler.
BUT wich I learned the hard way
Then at about lvl 76 or so I’d change back to garms because the phy def from 9D prot is only 9 higher then 9D garms. (haven’t checked this yet myself but I’ve heard it from multiple sources)
Now about the blues you need, this is a must. The pure int's where the noobs talk about that get owned in like 4 hits.. those are the ppl with bad blue. So if you wanna own with pure int.. this is what you have to do. Get your gear like 10lvl's before you are that lvl, cause it's hard to find and you want it cheap. I didn’t do alchemy a lot at lower lvl I just bought my gear this way, saves you a lot of headpains and money from alchemy.
So what you need to find and buy is gear with +str and +hp.. as much as you can find and afford. This is THE secret of owning with a pure int in pvp, I always get it.. as much as I can find..
It won’t help you do much more dmg but it will help you survive and that’s your main problem as a nuker below lvl 60.
I ones didn't have it at lvl 42 well I got owned so bad.. I just finally understood what those noobs were talking about. So I grinded got my better gear at 52 and came back for all of them ^^. So get those +str and +hp it makes a difference between standing laughing and laying crying.
Ofcourse +int is great too.. since it will increase your dmg and will help you do better against pure ints, but this is not your main focus at first.
7. DON'Ts
Ok here are some common mistakes I hear about when ppl are building a pure int....so here are some absolute DON'Ts:
- don't get a bow after lvl 31: bow is ranged and does high crit. As a pure int you won't do high crit and nukes do more dmg on range so a bow is useless after lvl 31. What you can do however is use bow untill lvl 30 and de-lvl it after. This sounds expensive but it's the fastest way to go from 1-30.
- don't get white hawk. The dmg increase is c.rap and you have to carry around a bow all the time. And on top of that you would lvl a whole tree for a useless skill. Besides as a nuker you rarely hear anybody say " I need more dmg" what you need is more def not more dmg.. you do plenty of dmg.
- don't go put some str points just because you want more hp. If you wanna go hybrid.. then think about it.. read some guides then think about the amount of INT and STR you wanna put on your char. And don't go below 80% mag balance EVER, because you will s.uck, but for more info go read one of the hybrid INT guides. There are plenty.

Firewall series
ok upon request i'll explain the firewall series some more. I’ve had it for a while and not many ppl use it like I do but it really allows you to tank any nuker that can’t 1 hit you forever
The firewall basicly is a wall of fire that you can put up and it adsorbs magical dmg till it’s hp is gone. But the thing is that even if the wall only has 1k health and the nuke does 30k dmg it still only hits the wall and the wall will disappear but you remain untouched. Now this means that you got a 100% chance of blocking a whole nuke or even a meteor from a wizard with a sun staff.
Another thing is that a warlock can’t put a status on you while your firewall is up (same for icewall)
Icewall series
Only diffrence with the firewall is that it won't save you against a nuke but then again it won't go down in 1 nuke. Because this skill adsorbs phy dmg, it’s great against rogues for blocking that first hit. It basically allows you to have a little more time because those d.amn rogues always go in stealth and hit you with a high crit. This way you block the 1st hit and can put up your defensive skills(shield technique serie/snow) and kill them off fast
