There is a way I know, but not for sure it would work for this game. Yet, I'm almost certain that it would work. I copied and paste this what I posted at a different forums. You want to try this, and if you need some help on it my aim is kevko1991 or my xfire is also kevko1991
"I remember back in the day when I used to play socom 2 and 3 on ps2, you could pull you either net cord to tap. I think it was called something else in those games but it is the same thing. Well they patch it when right when pull it, the game disconnect you completely. So there were bypasses of this called stand by. You could do this by pushing the button on the modem and it would let you lag for 8-10 seconds. Yet, there was a more convenient way. Especially people that didn't have this stand by button. You could buy a very long ether net cord that could lead to you, to the ps2, and also to the modem or router (But in this case it would be pc instead of ps2). Where the cord was at you, you could cut it open(NOT CUT THROUGH BUT CUT OPEN) the wire. You would then find the orange color wire with the white strip or a white color wire with a orange strip (I forgot which way). When you found this wire, you would cut THROUGH it making 2 ends of the wire (the orange wire with white strip or white wire with orange strip). You would then strip these 2 wires (the orange wire with white strip or white wire with orange strip). Finally connect the stripped wires a light switch, ultimately called the lag switch. This is just like the standby button and worked great on those games. I'm sure could possibly work for this game too, and no I'm not making this up. Some people even made special ps2 remotes with a switch built in it. This worked on the socom games because you had to be connected at all times, but when you did standby or lag switch, it let some connection go out, but hardly any.
Dont spam me or any thing like that, I'm just trying to help people that don't have a stand by modem or a tapper program."
