With the values as in SS it doesn't update it. However, if I change the SP & MP to 10k, for example, it works just fine.

Ah yeah. That's also an issue, if you have SP/MP values like 45k (I assume above the smallint max) ShStudio won't even pull the data from the database to create the MonsterEx.SData either. I had the same issue when pulling some OS values for some Ep5 monsters. I just keep all SP/MP below 9999 to avoid that issue.

Having a wierd problem I have never seen so far.

shStudio will no longer show stats and drops for mobs. Tested on 0.7.5.5, 0.7.1 and 0.6.6.
I tried pulling out a new Monster.sdata out of my client, get a clean Monster.sdata out of a clean EP4.5 client, nothing would work.

I know that in order for Monster.sdata to show drops, you previously need to load the Item.sdata. I've done this a dozen times and there is nothing wrong with loading the .sdata files.

The last thing I did to the Monster.sdata was adding 3 new mobs, which do not show when I open the Monster.sdata in 0.7.5 and 0.7.1, but they do show in 0.6.6.

However, I don't think this is what caused the problem, since a clean Monster.sdata will not work either. It also won't work with any other extracted client. I also tried downloading the latest version of shstudio again, no success.

i dont know about the language thing, but there's already been a fix many times on this thread for the 'rfu' thing. if only you would look..

use 7.5.0 for skills, then save it. copy the skills file. then open it in 7.5.5 and save it as ep 5 to make the skills.sql file work. then copy the skills file back where it should be and it' working

I have use convert skill.sdata ep6 format to ep5 format . After i attract with Python27 to edit somone text . But when i buid file and Convert from ep5 to ep6 skill format , this error . Ican't use up skill more 3+

The 0.7.6.0 should be released during August.
The main goal of the release will be to fix the issues related to the skill.sdata files.
Thank to post, or better, to send me as private mail, all *clear and comprehensive* description of issues or blocking bugs you may have experienced with the released shStudio. Don't forget to link files when required.

it should be possible.
w/o further investigation:
- different formats will result in changing the format (4, 9 or 15 levels) of the skill.sdata file.
- skill names will be updated with DB ones (since the file is assumed out of date of corrupted), names & desc can - if needed - be replaced with texts read from a specific language file (BinarySData/DBSkillText_???.SData).

No need to generate the monster/NpcSkill.sdata file ?
I assume your request is motivated by a preference to edit skills in MS-SQLSMS rather than with shStudio, but it is likely not a PvP only concern...
