I re created the server once again and I did it with the password Shaiya123 when it asks for "mixed mode" but still can't connect to my server. Some help would be appreciated. Thank you

EDIT: I found the way to log in ^^ the server works :P and I also found the way to connect and modify my SQL ! YAYYY ... But I got another problem xD When I select to connect on the server it finally says: "failed to connect to game server!!!". I have looked if this problem was already said but didn't find anything :/ ShaiyaOmega or JohnHeatz, if you know what is the problem please help me Thank you

Check that you have your local/publi IP (depends on the case) on every .ini file and obviously your game.exe and updater.exe (if you are using it)

Where do I find the ini files and where to modify all of the files ?

local disk/shaiyaserver/server/psm_client/bin/config. Use a text editor of your choice ( run as admin if you're using windows vista/7 unless UAC is off ) and double check the ip as local ( 127.0.0.1 ) also in the serverservice program ( the one with the arrows and stuff) make sure that you type the /vchkoff and nprotectoff command, I also forget this some times myself, silly mistake. :P

To type those commands (/vchkoff and /nprotectoff) isn't needed if you use the patched .exe files Omega provided though

Still nothing working. What do you mean a text editor ? and where do I change the IPs in the file ? (if you could copy-paste your files texts it would be great). I still get the same message "Failed to connect to game server!!!"

Use notepad it's quite convenient and when you go to 'open' a file make sure you use ' show all files' option unless you're gunna navigate to the file and right-click open it, either way when you're in the IPs are quite distinctively displayed just check them and make changes where appropriate.

The text editor I, personally, prefer is Notepad++ as I can even code in there, plus you can use the "search" function on it by pressing CTRL+F and typing what are you looking for.

Also, the IP, if you have changed it to local, would be 127.0.0.1 but if not, it can be OS's IP (I do not have the IP with me right now so I can't tell you which one it is) or it could say "whatsmyip.com"

Ok so I restarted my process of making my server public with getting it to log in as local, I haven't undone the port forward process but instead I have a new installation of omega files and the game.exe patched, ini files checked and good for local ip. It works till server selection screen and after that it gives ' failed to connect to game server'. Any idear what's causing this?

P.s Referred to this guide: I did all that it states except the bit where I have to run SQL Profiler, I try to run it but it crashes before I even finish entering the details x.x

SERVER WORKS !! All this time it wasn't working because after modify IP, i didn't apply settings.. XD I'll keep you informed :P thanks to all

EDIT: How do I add lvl 68/70 gears/weapons ? And how do I unlock level 70 ?

If you want to add new items to your server / client just extract them from OS server with LPH's And paste them to your client / db.

You simply need to use LPH's tool to extract them from any other server that has these items implemented, and then add them to your server, on it's sdata and database

Tutorial #5 @ 5:00 You forgot to allow incoming connections and allowed IP's.
Probably
