Read through this thread and you will probably find that your linked servers are not correctly installed.

Because PS_USERDB01 is a linked server and it is called by a stored procedure so either correctly install the linked servers or use Abrasives Fix Here

I've ran into this specific cause of the above many times now, and it always happens to me when I set up a fresh server. Never have I seen anyone else mention it before though. I decided to add it here just in case it would be useful to someone.

Inside of PS_GameData.dbo.usp_Read_Char_Product_Item_E there is this query:

SELECT Slot,ItemID,ItemCount FROM PS_USERDB01.PS_Billing.dbo.Users_Product WHERE UserUID=@UserUID

Since PS_USERDB01 does not exist, it causes my client to disconnect after selected the server and clicking ok.

To fix it, I remove PS_USERDB01 from the stored procedure so the query looks like this:

SELECT Slot,ItemID,ItemCount FROM PS_Billing.dbo.Users_Product WHERE UserUID=@UserUID

To check if the linked servers exist open MSSQL Management Studio.
Expand Server Objects Then Linked Servers. and there should be A PS_USERDB01 listed there.

Ok, client now works, I added the IP: 127.0.0.1, but now I just got 2 questions. If everybody use this ip, the server will have everybody else that created it aswell ? And aslo I can't login, I don't know what are my login I.Ds.. If someone can help me it would be nice thank you

Just go to the PS_UserData.dbo.Users_Master and create an account for yourself.

As for the IP it is LOCAL IP, so just will work for your computer

Ok.. Before, my Microsoft SQL Windows Login was working, but now everytime I want to connect it says:

Ello guys, I have successfully installed this server and runs brilliantly on local.
I then decided to go forth and make it public so me and my friend could actually begin messing around and start making changes to drops and so on.
I followed this and it fails to connecto server.

I have searched around alot on google and on other forums for help but decided to try here. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated thank you.

Rohan, did you patch the game.exe using LPH's tool? if so then I had the same problem as you but I did it manually and got it to run. Just use HxD in this tutorial's 'useful links' and patch it manually. This tutorial is by AriezOMG:

and you should be able to login easily.


[EDIT:woops forgot to mention my own problem lol. John I followed the tutorial by blackhatjoe and changed the PublicIP= in the game exe and PS_game.ini along with the port forwards. I get a 'cannot conect to server. Check notice board' error

I've already patched the game.exe with the I.P 127.0.0.1 etc.. But I got a problem, I have no ID's to connect and I can't create one with SQL because I can't access to the database. So I don't know what to do now. I must know if there is a default account already created and if there is anyway to access the database or use another SQL system.

Idk mate, I wouldn't say there is no acct data on the DB as you can't access to confirm it. However I'd recommend reinstall the entire server from scratch and follow the tutorial to the dot. Use Shaiya123 as your password whilst installing the server, where it asks you about the 'mix mode authentication' and later on when you're all stable and running change it to whatever you like there's plenty of tuts on here for that.

Hello , Make sure you are putting in both commands /vchkoff /nprotect before trying to log into game , if still having problems PM me and ill send you my skype and help past this matter
