Hi All. I followed all instructions step by step all went well got green arrows and they are stable. I replaced in all .ini were was : whatismyip.com with my IP. When i try log in game, afther chosse the server wich i left the name as the default , i get the erro: failled to connect to game server!!!

I noticed this dont know if the erros are conected:

PSMServer_AgentInstall => Start service failed - Under:C:\ShaiyaServer\SERVER\PSM_Server

PSM_AgentInstall => Start service failed - Under:C:\ShaiyaServer\SERVER\PSM_Client

any idea how to solve it?

Obviously if your services are not running you cannot connect. without those you cannot even start the server let alone connect to it.
Are you running Vista/Win7 and did you run the items as Administrator.
Ctrl+Alt+Del and see if PSM_Agent.exe and PSMServer_Agent.exe are running.
If Not you will need to install those services and restart your computer.

RUN "C:\ShaiyaServer\SERVER\batch\shaiya_svc_register. bat" to reinstall the services

If all services were installed and server was running "Not Paused" then check you IP config and Firewall setup.
Did you enter your external I.E. 74.25.***.***
or network IP I.E. 192.168.*.***
or local IP I.E. 127.0.0.1

for local you do not need firewall config.
for network or external you will need firewall configured and your game.exe IP to match what you placed in the .ini files.

I had my windows with password and i removed i think the problem is about windows registration i say this because today when i turned the cumputer on i try to make run PSMServer_AgentInstall / PSM_AgentInstall, they started working then i did upgrade and the arrows went to red o.o So i removed all and reisntalled ..
Btw Im using Windows xp 32bit.

Says is working ..


But.. why pops this erro if is working o.O'


About the IP i had reinstall all to try fix the erro i show up, and i configured the .ini to local IP

Never Ever do Server Update...... this will break your installation as you do not have the proper files to update to

İ did all steps. Didnt see any problem. Everything seems ok but when I join the game got an error. Failed to connect to game server!!! . Any idea ? İ did search but didnt found anything useable.

When i click Start all server service, all BUT Session go to > and when it does it turns to || in a seccond or two. And then they all go back to || I need someone to help. :\

Failed to connect to game server, after selecting server and clicking ok
May be caused by Windows Firewall blocking the client trying to connect to the server.
Can also be caused by the incorrect IP address entered in D:\SHAIYA_SERVER\SERVER\PSM_Client\Bin\Config\ps_g ame.ini on the line that starts with GamePublicIP=
It could possibly also be from incorrect IP addresses in other .ini files.

Almost always when your services go back to Pause it means a error connecting to the Database.

Check when you set up mysql did you enable the IP's in SQL Server Configuration TCPIP Set Up Watch Video #1 @ 4:40 to see what i am referring to.

I fixed that by restarting the whole process now it goes > no problem.
I did everything EXACTLY how he did it, step by step, click by click. But i get the same error everytime ..



If you could go here and post any ideas on how to solve the issue that would be great.
