Hi everyone, i've a problem...i'm running a virtual server with ep 4.5 and i want add some ep 7/8 gears. I followed and i'm able to see and create an armor with the new models but when i try to equip it in game, game.exe crashes. Someone has any solutions?
your problem is that your ade adding sets that are made for a difrent version of shaiya and since ep6.3+ they have been makeing the 3dc difrent format with extra verts so convert the 3dc to ep4 or 5 format with Sh Studio

Gosh ppl these days have this next Generation of Admins/devs forgot about google or search functions in my post i told you what tool to use i kinda left it up to you to figer it out from there because ppl these days just have no clue at all.... what wallerus has kindly done for you is mostlikly on the post of castor for SH Studio explaining it .. so Thumbs up for wallerus for still Helping the Epvper Community.. But cummon ppl start useing the search function
Adding new gears error. 05/10/2015 - Shaiya PServer Development - 4 Replies I have a problem with adding new armors. I extracted the files of one armor from ep7.0(3DCfiles and DDS files) and put in ep 4.5 client. In humf_helmet,upper,lower,hand and foot, by shstudio I added to these files 3DC name and DDS. In Item.sdata I change model of Daynroth amor for this new armor. I save it and Excute Item.sql. I turned on the server , the client turned logged on to the server and get an character load error. I do not know what to do :rtfm:
