ps_game crash

[Boul27]

Hi every one,

After long hours of search, i give up, and try my last change here

I decide to put my server on my 2008 R2 server
On my pc (windows seven 64bits) all work fine.

Put in my 2008 R2, ps_game won't start.
I already search in elite, all my server file are ok (i take them from my compture, where my server run actually)

I try to update visual C++, net framwork ..
Still crash
Put ps_game.pdb doesn't correct the problem.

I have 6gb of ram, and my 2008R2 is 64bits too.

Find something interesting.

A put the old itemmalfix.dll and it works.

Only the new itemmalfix.dll (with no dc after the 11th purschase) crahs.

maybe a problème of compilation of the dll.

mmh you have edit the NPCQuest.sdata?? even i have this problem if change this file, edit with shstudio 7.5 and exctract with datafile tools

And like i said, i use files that work fine in my computer with windows seven.

I edit the previous post to had the fact that i found my ps_game work with the initial itemalfix.dll

Maybe the second has been compiled in 64bits mod, with newer dependencies that windows 2008 R2 can accept

I have fix this error !

This error appear when we launch a sql script when the server is open

For fix you need to :

- Shutdown server
- Shutdown SQL server managment
- re-extract your script
- open SQL server managment
- Launch your script
- add a new ps_game.exe & db-agent.exe
- Make the good ip data password & data user in : ShaiyaServer -> PSM_Server -> Config -> PSMServer_Config.ini
- Start your server

Try to encrypt / Decrypt your NPCQuestData too ! if it not fix !

It´s not a basic crash. Your fix, it´s when your ps-game do not start. Boul27 say te compiled code into the itemmalfix.dll (bug compiled) and the error of stackbase (he uses special ps-game and db-agent)

(crossing with the itemmalfix.dll)

I had to recompile it in 32bits version, with all the dll needed (compile in static instead of dynamic)
And now, all it's ok

I copy/past the serverfiles in my pc and it works weel, but, it do not longer work on my windows server

Thats strange because my server is running windows server 2008 r2.
I also use the lastest SQL Server 2012

I'm going to use the database too, i'm uploading it (except the PS_GameLog -> its too big)

All was working fine before I restart the server. (I only change some svmap files and the dbo.Items table, thats all)

I tried with some other ps_game.exe (the 4.5 kr, the "Episo 7 CN", the original 5.4 one from germany, the costume release one ...) and both have the same error on the logs

EDIT: Serverfiles AND database tested and both works well on my pc, so....
EDIT2: Tested in D: drive, and nothing else, same problem


#Fixed, I setup a new windows, and the problem was still it.
But Iook in my logs again, and I read somewhere something about a map file, and the problem was inside my 104.svmap file
If i'm not wrong, the problem was using some spawns in the svmap and the in the ini file too, so I deleted the svmap ones and it worked well.
