there are currently a few p-servers who have to deal with a new kind of attack directly to the ps_game.exe. it seems that it's possible to send pakets (probably via the paket editor) to the game client which cause a crash of the ps_game.exe:
Exception !!!, code=0xC0000005, address=0x0045FBDB
we already tried different versions of the ps_game.exe but this appears with all of them on various addresses, for sure.
does anyone know how to stop this kind of attacks or can say anything further about this?
we're sure that this kind of problems are not related to misconfiguration!
