NO, i had no help in the beggining and everyone now wants you to just hand it to them.

Its completely ludacris and i cant take it anymore. no one wants to help each other because others wont help them. the community is divided and it might as well crumble, all its gonna take is a nice nudge to destroy what us devs have worked so hard to create. i think i speak for all devs and i guess im the only one that isnt afraid to say this. Use the search button, learn something, read, if your foreign.... GOOGLE TRANSLATE. its real simple people i think its time someone stood up and said something. Im not gonna stand by and watch years of work get destroyed because immature pukes cant act there own age. think im scared? I swear to you if another person manages to get into our dedi again i will notify authorities wether i run a p-server or not. there will be consequences and hell to pay. it is illegal to run a p-server. its even more illegal to hack it.

The true way to fix the break in problem is to setup the server onto a computer that u own and buy a cooler let it run forever, shut it down on maintaince.see the logs you can secure it much better on your pc

Actually Luffy did hit a very LOW Point after his brother ACE die and all of his crews were scatter all over the many different worlds, and did give up. It was the people that safed Fatty water guy (forgot his name) which promised ACE to take care of his little brother Luffy which helped Luffy regain his fighting spirit. Well I didn't really read that part very carefully, but with supporting friends, we can bring Shinru fighting spirit back.

Many in this community including Shinru helped guide us through a lot of frustrating time, now that we are given the opportunity to return the favor and say Thank You, we should take this opportunity to do so.

Done – Fresh install of Operation System
Done – add firewall along with Virus scan
Done – Changed XAMMP ports, password and default setting
Done – Scan and secure personal computer which connect through RDP

Looking into – IIS to replace Xammp

Was thinking of the same thing Prof - if we are unable to secure Xammp and move to IIS, even though IIS offer a little more protection, we will run into the same issue.

Been reading blogs regarding Xammp security all day seeing how we can secure Xammp better. Prof: do you have other resources that can help direct us to secure Xammp better?

I think both options are valid. I wouldn't blindly assume one is better than the other, it is really subjective.

Just go with what suites you best. (Do the research)

I think we were able to bring a little fighting spirit back into Shinru last night. Like both Prof and EC said, do research (been reading up on loop hole in Xamp and Apache).

As far as Cracking our vistor from Canada that keep cracking into our system had a not so friendly visit today.

Will keep researching on how to close loop hole. You are doing a great job Shinru, everyone from Elite Shaiya community is supporting you.

I just get frustrated when i cant get things right the first time and doing things in repitition over and over again frustrates me even more. I was suprised to see so many of you message me and tell me not to give up and that the community wouldnt be the same without me. Then some didnt even seem to care, But i want to say thank you to those that showed support and helped me get through this battle with trial and error. Glad to have you back! Like i said, if you need help with anything, jsut ask on skype, i might surprise you with my knowledge (dutch mind, i think slow, but i can have alot of random information XD). If you have questions on how to secure your website, i got quite familiar with Apache, besides, IIS will give you alot of coding problems, it requires alot of time to code it proper, i tried it -.-'... When secured proper, Apache works great, and can be linked with Shaiya flawlesly. I hope you achieve what you strive for. Good luck!

Not if you know how to code properly.

Said this before, you need to go with what suites you best.

Apache and IIS are both valid solutions.

You really need to take the time to investigate and research which solution suites you best. It is probably best to look at them both, then choose.

It is a total different coding area and it would be silly to learn IIS in such short notice when you are pro with Apache. The php plugin for IIS sucks and i prefer to get normal error messages then the shadey IIS messages, they don't help alot with the coding. Me myself stick to Apache, i don't tell anyone not to use IIS, but it is just my oppinion.

I concur Danco. I find incomprehensible, vague and really difficult to change .. configurations in all Microsoft's programs. I started learning SQL with MySQL and found the documentation on their website very helpful. It got me started. I like MSSQL, but the Books Online I found and MS Knowledge Base gives me a headache. It's like they can't make it simple and comprehensible, but have to spread the information all around. I dealt with Microsoft Server system once and OMG ... I said I will never touch it again. Either it was my tutor or the system or both that made me hate it. Complicated and very not user friendly interface helped it too.
