I dont care if i get banned from these forums, but you need to quit supporting hacks. its ridiculous and contradictary to host a p-server section and post hacks at the same time. Elite has been in beta for sometime now and every time we come close to going live something happens.. last time someone managed to get INTO our dedi and change the admin pass. And we had to start over then today we get everything back up and someone logs in and turns off remote connections. im sick of it and im about to leave the shaiya community for good because of stupid ******** like this. Its retarded. one server thinks they're so much better because their same ol' crap drops from a different spot i mean its about half retarded and when i do leave imma tell the shaiya community to kiss my ***. i think a few of you need to mature a little bit and im talking to the hackers and cheaters. its a game GTFO and move on if you can't handle the 100x exp your handed on a silver platter by most servers now days. its completely uncalled for and rediculous. i dont understand why people want to attack the very thing that we have worked so hard to accomplish. im sick of it, and im sick of the community always just LEECHING and FEEDING off of the devs instead of understanding how to do things first. do you think i learned how to do all of this by leeching? NO, i had no help in the beggining and everyone now wants you to just hand it to them.

The true way to fix the break in problem is to setup the server onto a computer that u own and buy a cooler let it run forever, shut it down on maintaince.see the logs you can secure it much better on your pc

Uh, what? This does not make sense on many levels.
Actually Luffy did hit a very LOW Point after his brother ACE die and all of his crews were scatter all over the many different worlds, and did give up. It was the people that safed Fatty water guy (forgot his name) which promised ACE to take care of his little brother Luffy which helped Luffy regain his fighting spirit. Well I didn't really read that part very carefully, but with supporting friends, we can bring Shinru fighting spirit back.
Many in this community including Shinru helped guide us through a lot of frustrating time, now that we are given the opportunity to return the favor and say Thank You, we should take this opportunity to do so.

Been reading blogs regarding Xammp security all day seeing how we can secure Xammp better. Prof: do you have other resources that can help direct us to secure Xammp better?

I think we were able to bring a little fighting spirit back into Shinru last night. Like both Prof and EC said, do research (been reading up on loop hole in Xamp and Apache).
As far as Cracking our vistor from Canada that keep cracking into our system had a not so friendly visit today.
Will keep researching on how to close loop hole. You are doing a great job Shinru, everyone from Elite Shaiya community is supporting you.

Nope, sorry. I used Apache only to test my websites. Never was interested how to secure it.
I just get frustrated when i cant get things right the first time and doing things in repitition over and over again frustrates me even more. I was suprised to see so many of you message me and tell me not to give up and that the community wouldnt be the same without me. Then some didnt even seem to care, But i want to say thank you to those that showed support and helped me get through this battle with trial and error. I am very grateful for you guys, (You know who you are) and i am happy to call you my friends!
Glad to have you back! Like i said, if you need help with anything, jsut ask on skype, i might surprise you with my knowledge (dutch mind, i think slow, but i can have alot of random information XD). If you have questions on how to secure your website, i got quite familiar with Apache, besides, IIS will give you alot of coding problems, it requires alot of time to code it proper, i tried it -.-'... When secured proper, Apache works great, and can be linked with Shaiya flawlesly. I hope you achieve what you strive for. Good luck!

Apache and IIS are both valid solutions.
You really need to take the time to investigate and research which solution suites you best. It is probably best to look at them both, then choose.
It is a total different coding area and it would be silly to learn IIS in such short notice when you are pro with Apache. The php plugin for IIS sucks and i prefer to get normal error messages then the shadey IIS messages, they don't help alot with the coding. Me myself stick to Apache, i don't tell anyone not to use IIS, but it is just my oppinion.
I concur Danco. I find incomprehensible, vague and really difficult to change .. configurations in all Microsoft's programs. I started learning SQL with MySQL and found the documentation on their website very helpful. It got me started. I like MSSQL, but the Books Online I found and MS Knowledge Base gives me a headache. It's like they can't make it simple and comprehensible, but have to spread the information all around. I dealt with Microsoft Server system once and OMG ... I said I will never touch it again. Either it was my tutor or the system or both that made me hate it. Complicated and very not user friendly interface helped it too.

USED the changes made in the system32/driver/etc/host and used dekaron nsse.exe.
it works..though im not doing anything foolish in Loa..even removed maplist to avoid wall and speedhack, still get banned through a disconnect...
