Hello, as you already know from the title i am going to share the experiece i got in that particular server and ask you guys for your opinion because i really dont know.
So i played in this server for a couple years..but it eventually died yet i stayed loyal almost till the end even though i went thorugh a lot of drama and shit..but i did have a good time there that can not be denied. The owner opened another 5.4 EP server, keeping one of the old GMs and promoting one of the few GSs that stayed into a GM. The server is currently 5-6 months old, has 2 GMs which in my opinion are terrible, and a couple GSs from whom some of them are around 80 years old, their fun is capital MM and GRB and to me they in the wrong game. The server has around 30 to 40 people onilne in good times and around 20 to 30 daily.
I am a serious player, i have always looked for good server with good pvp and good staff ( i am seriously pissed off bad staff members ).
So now when you have an idea of what the server looks in general and you know what kind of player i am let me share my in game experience. 1st of all my opinion about the GMs is based on three things - They are NOT good in anything but playing. The second thing is that they do nothing different than a simple GS except the fact that they make MMs. Absolutely nothing. So what i am asking myself at this point is what is the real job of a GM ? In this way of thinking anyone could become one. My 3rd point is that sometimes they warn certain people, yet close their eyes for their friends and stuff like that ( on top of that they are terrible pvpers and right now when the most important thing we need is good pvpers they ruin the thing even more).
Lets continue with GSs - as i already said there are some old people whose mentality is just...old..and its bad. Other GSs for example make sure their friends win at events. There was a meme event recntly and there were some great works but all three winners were pinoy guildmates whose work was terrible, on top of that 1st palce was taken by somebody mocking the other faction ( about unfair pvp and stuff which was obviously wrong).
So in general the staff in this server is...gosh...terrible is just a too postivie word to describe them. And now comes the question why are they here, what is the GO doing about all that. Well the GO is fine with them being GMs, he doesnt mind that his GMs are uneducated about anything except playing, and seems that the fact they do nothing isnt bothering him. I offered him to hire somebody so is good at coding or designing or something but he said he doesnt need that.
Another problem is the people that are currently playing there. The majority are pinoy people, and we know there are 2 kind of pinoys tagalog and bisaya aka people from a town and from a village, so when you have a server full of villagers for whom being dumb is normal..the whole server mentality just changes ( and those are just facts that im saying ). The server is lacking good players,pvpers who know what are they doing and that is pissing me off because im circled of idiots.
This server has not died yet, but i am 100% sure that it will not last much longer if it is maintained in the same way, and if nothing is done. My point of view is that this server will not succeed unless the whole staff team is changed, and for some reason after knowing the owner for so long i am pretty sure he will not do that.So at this point is worth playing there ? I do not want to waste my time and energy for something like that. I just want to find a nice server with a nice,dedicated staff team where to play. Ive got a lot of memories but maybe its time to change the place, i would love to hear your opinion about it and see what you think.
