This error is given when the path to the file is wrong! Try after uploading the patch, manually enter the path in browser to make sure the path is exact.

Then like TradeHappy said. When you changed the address in hex (of your updater.exe) you typed something wrong, so it's looking for the wrong "address" to find your patches.
Get a new updater, or fix the address in your one to look to the right address.

But hey, it is better than nothing... correct? All you gotta do is press Ctrl + H then replace <Char ID> with your character ID, yes the full 0010000 ect. Press replace all and bam, all your packets ready to go. Have fun ;)
