Those are the same 'rules' as private servers, it's simply the law. They're just more likely to take actions against a whole game than to the hundreds of private servers that usually don't survive...

It was not, to be honest. I tried both and Grindroad had way more stuff fully implemented and it could also handle high loads much better. (Zelos' networking code was kinda shit)
