thanks poczatki this certainly helped, but im still stuck when I open the html doc (SF.htm) it loads up to 23% and then stops; nothing is showing up on the console either
Any ideas what I may have forgotten any1 been at it for 2 hours now

ok got it too work, looks like the files weren't in the right folder can believe that was the prob

1. Run Xampp control panel (beta)
2. Click Admin button (Mysql)
3. Create a new database
4. On the left, click on the visible name of the newly created database
5. Click on SQL tab
6. Coby "seafight.sql" content
7. Paste it in big, empty window.
8. Click "Go"
9. Click on structure.
10. Click on "characters".
11. Open Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Express
12. Open "WickedSrv - EOS Edition.sln"
13. Edit line that is marked on vid.
14. Put there your username, password and database name (from mysql phpmyadmin)
15. Click "debug" - console will open.
16. Register a new Acc on seafight page.
17. Open sea chart.
18. Click Crtl+s (to save sea chart) and save it in xxamp -> htdocs
19. Download zip file (link in "all links" from my upload)
20. Unpack it in xxamp -> htdocs
21. Delete http documet named "SF"
22. Edit name of "www.seafight.***" to "SF"
23. Edit it using the normal notebook or notebook++
24. Change "ID" (4x) and "gameserver" (2x)
25. Save file.
26. Run it in browser

took me forever but this is an indepth tutorial for any1 who can't get it

ok well fist you need to get some software called XAMPP, google it
you also should get notepad++, it will help
and of course visual c#

once you install those programs open the project file(WickedSrv - EOS Edition)
under the solution explorer on the side you should be able to navigate to Commons and then a file named
SqlClient.cs
somewhere near the middle or whatever you'll see this.connectionString = SqlHelpers.CreateConnectionString....
edit it to read: this.connectionString = SqlHelpers.CreateConnectionString("localhost", Convert.ToUInt32("3306"), "root", "", "seafight");

now hit debug ! a console should show up... next up is XAMPP the virtual server thing>>

load up the control panel and hit the admin button (or goto your web browser and type in: )

under MySQL localhost you gotta make a database I reccomend using "seafight"

once you open it, goto the SQL tab at the top there and copy and paste EVERYTHING thats in seafight.sql thats included... and hit go of course :P

goto to Structure and press the small 'Browse button' next to characters...
*GASP* there should be one entry all you really pay attention to is the userid, you can always mess around with it later...
next up is the website and client >>copy all those files included to C:\xampp\htdocs (Make sure delete or move all that crap thats in there first!)

Finnally we need to edit SF.htm look for those long numbers and ensure that they match the userid from the database


note on the very right the '127.0.0.1:90" .. thats very important dont forget it (i dont no if the 90 needs to be there or not but whatever)
save and close
now make sure the console thing is going in C# and you should be able to open SF.htm and ... it should work hope this helps guys have fun

btw you can still do what he did in the vid to get the .htm, useful if you can't read the language it was saved in, same stuff

you don't need to login into Seafight at all for it to work, i believe he is just saying that you change the user id 4 times and the gameserver twice...

the user id in the database you made, it should be 41780102 if you didn't change it...

Can I use Xampp 1.8.0 win 32? it works?

dont startt this project now i am ing problem with sea chart cant shott or nothing dont turn it on you will have then problems
