Spoofing Monitor?

I am building a Better pc soon and used to cheat on my old pc. I have a dynamic ip and all my hardware is being changed besides my monitor. Could this interfere and get me banned. I can’t afford a new monitor so is there any way I can spoof it?

U have to spoof your monitor, if u are banned in mw2/wz2 and in apex legends

You must absolutely spoof your monitor for Rust in order to avoid being banned, thus I advise you to purchase a new one.
And sure, it is possible to manually fake it, but because doing so involves changing registry values, it must be done after each startup.

You sure I am getting mixed responses. Also is there any videos on how to change the registry values so I can do this.

I wouldn't use this forum if you want actual good information, as this forum is only good for buying/selling. The dude above is talking out of his ***, even if they were to flag you for your monitor, that alone would never get you banned.

I'm amazed that someone can get this much misinformation at once.
1. Yes, eac grabs your monitor edid(not from registry as the guy above states)
2. Yes it's adviseable to spoof it.
3. They don't ban you solely on the EDID itself because monitor serials isn't a reliable way to identify someone.

This is not a good advice. CRU/EDID_OVERRIDE is usermode and will result in getting flagged and/or banned.

Nothing really, just go ahead and play with your new pc and old monitor. It'll be fine. Just make sure to not bring any old hardware like disks etc.. over to the new computer.
