Hello,
(SUMMARY/ABOUT)
Do you have memories of old rust and want to relive them? There is currently a server hosting Dev Blog 147(first couple months of the component system).
I and my friends joined it today and had a blast and we just had 10 players dueling it out. We want to try to get the server to 30 players tomorrow.
At 1 pm PST - 4 pm EST we plan to all be on the server playing it. There are already a couple of small groups on the server pvping. We would hope you would join.
(REQUIREMENTS)
Since this is an older version of rust you don't need a good pc to run it. The graphic settings are much less intensive on older PC's. One person on the server plays on a mac and gets 60+ fps contently. The files for the dev blog are only a little more than 5gigs and took everyone less than 10mins to download. The server owner also makes sure the server connection is good and the server can hold up to 100 players.
(WHY)
Some people didn't know what older rust versions would like and how the game came to be this gives newer players an opportunity to try the older game out. But what if you are an old-timer? You can still join I've been playing rust since 2016 and the memories of the older map, the crafting times or the armor differences, changed up the strategy and gameplay. The real question is why not? It takes less than 10 minutes to download and 30 seconds to delete if you don't like it.
(WHEN/INFO)
Me and my friends today all built around the airfield and had an FFA you are welcome to join us there or build somewhere else. We will be playing at 1 pm PST or 4 pm EST. Again we would love to see you. I will also leave a detailed version of the map where everyone is and where the rad towns are since they are not labeled.
(HOW)
To get this version all you have to do is download the files linked or you can join the discord.
