First of all, nice work.

You shouldn't complain about the dying community of Devs. The devs who know all the stuff are not sharing their knowledge und no one here is willing to explain newbis how Rappelz works. They are just releasing tools, thats it.

If they would be more tutorials and explanations about how the sframe, herlock, aurora and the database are communicating and how certain files can be manipulated, there would be new more stuff from new people who are willing to learn. And if someone is interested in learning something and is asking around then toxic reactions follow.

Now its just like 5 people make everything. Think about that.

It's good to hear that there are still some devs out there who want to share their knowledge.

Teaching people is not a bad thing. I just think its not efficient to teach everyone personally, especially if people are retiring after few months.
Helping people to help themselves is the way to go and it's a better time investment too.
This is not a personal appeal to you because you did pretty good job in terms of education (i looked up your threads). I hope some of the other devs who are hiding in the shadow of silence are reading and thinking about this.

well i am one who is lurking around and learning from lamia,i learned some thing till now,how to edit already models and new textures,skill textures(colors) etc,but i wana learn how to use other games models to rappelz and it is bit hard for me but i will try to learn it.

Ofc, in some sections of rappelz-developing the transmission of knowledge lacks a lot (I have for example not that much knowledge about writing tools)...but in section "map,models&textures" I wouldn't say there couldn't be more.

In fact, you're right with the bad echo on questions asked here...
And you're right that it would be needed to get more newcoming devs.
Even if I didn't complain about the dying community of devs,
I complained about the fact, that the playerbase of rappelz dies out
because of lazyness to install things with more interesting environmental content.




I just can talk about that dev-section, because that's the one I have my knowledge in.
In other ones, don't know how it is going there with newbies.
"someone" has made some really nice tools for the new epics and will be releasing them eventually

Not to toot my own horn but I gotta couple ringers coming out too, no idea when but they are working pretty nice in the development environment

Thanks for the awesome new/edited mobs models, but how can I add them to my P-Server and use them in-game? (Mobs ID..etc) I couldn't find a full clear guide for importing new/edited monsters to the game, as I'm sure it's not easy as just drop and drag method but need editing db.monster...etc.

I imported a modded Wolf monster with nx3 (+dds) file to the game after encrypting it to .*** resource file and putting it on resource folder and it works fine (it replaces default wolf skin on the game) I was able to do that following a video guide, but I can't apply that guide on your files since your files are different, I need to import your new Lilitas texture on game and make it works, I want really appreciate a full in-depth guide for that!

but sadly 0 official files/latest version/stable/crowded/succeeded/well balanced Rappelz server
I don't even know why you guys keep making stuff like that.

I AM just asking cuz im rly confised here, since 2011 no server last more than 24 monthes i guess xD

Don't keep fighting in comments I will only read reasons.

is gamegaurd server emulation patched? i.e. use the last rev of gamegaurd instead of the new update using the server emu method? that way it would be posibble to use DSEEG-0-110-1002 with title changer tool again without gamegaurd dcing. anyone got the old upadte.cfg(i think i got that right......bad memory lol ) and the old gamegaurd rev before 1362 for dragonica? did anyone download the update cfg before the last update lol i forgot to!!! if server emu is patched oops its been awhile...
