[Release] New Map + some Instruction to implement

Good evening all,

as the threadname already says,
I'll release now my new map with a kind of instruction how you can implement it on your server (for those who don't know)

For those who are interested in, but want to know how the map looks like,
you can watch my preview-video or look at the preview-screens

Before I start to explain how to implement that map on your server,
i have a few words to say:

This map was a soloproject by me, and there was just me working on it...
so there's of course the possibility of some bugs or missing points.
(for example not all edges are rounded edges)
I got ill last days and I didn't have the motivation to make nfa-entries for each small terrainprop...it was still enough work with those I made for.
-> Don't expect a masterpiece xD
The minimap is just a blenderscreenshot at the moment, but it should be okay as help in navigation and orientation....and I already wrote that I'll make a better one when I have enough time.
Don't get irritated by the texture, it's from Katan.^^

I called that map "Seelenhort"/"Soulhort"/"Treasure of Souls"
(wasn't sure which could be the english version for that xD),
and I also built that map to that theme (for example the soul-sea).

You can see this release as Beta-Phase of that map,
there's the possibility I'll change a few things when I got some feedback(positive/negative criticism), bug-reports, or any missing things.

I think that was all I wanted to say before talking about the map now.


Some information about that map:
▬ it's default located at x=4 and y=13 on worldmap ▬
▬ there are a few new (edited/imported) terrainprops on it, which will be released here now too ▬
▬ there are a few places you can't reach by walking,
so you can use these locations for special NPCs or hidden treasures. ▬
(teleport via special quests or however you want to deal with that)
▬ it's a really large map, so you have enough space to fill it with monsters/bosses, or nice farmspots
▬ there's no direct connection to other maps (mountains are set around the complete map),
so you need to teleport there ▬
▬ you need a new worldlocation-entry/ new entries (I'll add a possible 9.1 query in the instruction) ▬


Now to the implement-instruction:

1. you need some TerrainPropInfo.cfg-entries

2. you need some new TerrainSeamlessWorld.cfg lines:

4. A list of things you need to patch to client:

4.1 A list of things you need to add/change in your serverresource:

5. Here's a list with some tool-screens + portcommands, you maybe want to have or you will need:


If you don't know how you should set the way through my map, you can watch the video on youtube and use some equal ports.

That should be all you need to get that map working
If I made any mistakes in instruction or any file is missing...
Just tell me.
And for those who use the map, please gimme a feedback, so I can correct or add/delete things quickly.

PS: You need all 3 downloads to get the complete work. (had to split the terrainprops into 2 parts)
It is possible, that there's one file that doesn't want to get patched.
It's no problem, that's just one file I cleared, it's not needed for working of props. (to be honest then I was just too lazy to delete it..)

but when i port to the location,
there is all empty ^^

how can i patch the files with the 9.1 Client

i put all the files into the rappelz 9.1 Resource folder.

if u done every thing is as instructed then maybe its hashing problem try these hashes

For terrainseamlessinfo.cfg -> QReTvhmvo+MU(coN],Au!5higx

and for terrainpropinfo.cfg -> 1H}A}82w2A;3PWpY1BUdd

also ensure u have exported the rdb of WorldLocation & StringResource

Hey thanks for answer,

So i added in the game server in the map folder the 3 map files + lines to the .cfg files.

So i extractet with a other tool from raskmim the rdb after i used the sql queries.

I copied the .cfg files and renamed it to small letters.

Then i hashed all the 3 files from ur download + the rdb and the cfg files and added them to the rappelz 9.1 client resource folder.

I think something i made wrong when i start the server and start rappelz with the .bat file and pirt me to the locations u posted i see nothing then white and can move.

I tried it to update with the tool grimoire too but dont workded, too
