about pices that work togheter.
to complete an pet it need at least 4 different kind of files:
1. the .nx3 file (body) or joints . that is the replacement .obj cuz since is 2d we dont have models.
2. the .dds files/s at least 2 for each pet (ex: wd have 2 for evo3 standard and 2 for staged)
3. the .naf files. its depends on how manny skills/moves have the pet. they are the animations.
4. the .cob file ..that is the one that link all toghether and comunicate to db (each item have his own compiler for .net)
Im not interested on how to bring the body and texture toghether (reverse) to get an 3d model. i want to understand how an cad file can link dds files (texture) to form a body.
As far what i got is that .nx3 is an CAD extension, probably from u-g nx3/unigraphics nx3.
Current version is nx8 (siemens cad platform) but is designed to completly other ussage then a game soft like maya (unfortunatly maya dont import .nx3). Now the problem that rise is that the nx3/8 project save as .prt not .nx3 and with that im stuck
advices: Wich cad platform can create a body (export .nx3) using dds (textures) ?
thanks...
