I think ThunderNikk is right. After using a query to list all Items i found some of the values and description in indescernible letters.

Since figuring out how to change the language of the stringresource is probably going to take me ages i will use this opportunity to get the newer files from the redemption repack.

There are multiple string resources in the server tables.

You just need to rename the one being used to StringResource_AR then find the one for your language and remove the _XX language name at the end of it until it is named StringResource

mmm... trying to start a 9.4 Redemption release server, but princessaurora.exe is missing...
Am I totally stoned ? Should I retrieve the .exe from another 9.4 release ?

I havent even really looked at the release but I would assume that maybe they used Glandu2's auth emulator

Couldn't find any "beginner's" guide on auth emulation tools...
I know I'm pestering you with newbie questions, but I really need some help in order to set it up.
I.e. I don't know which file to launch first (Putty ? Rzauth ? Admin Console ?)...
Nor I know how to configure the Putty thing...

The auth.opt for Glandu's auth emulator is self-explanatory.
What error did you get with the auth emu?

Well, the .opt file is quite clear, I just don't know what .exe to launch (rzauth ?)
Tried to launch each .exe (Putty, rzauth, admin console) but I was not able to start any service on auth server in order to accept incoming connections

I solved using an old princessaurora taken from another 9.4 release, however I would like to learn more on auth emu

You run rzauth.exe

The nice thing about it is once it is running you dont need any start service commands it does all that automatically.

Start rzauth.exe

Start captainherlock.exe

?

Start client log in and profit

*edit*, i managed to make it load the rdb but sadly the ordering of columns is messed up and i seriously don't have the time to keep on track with it.

if you want to look at the progress here's the file maybe you can continue editing it.

Hello everyone, happy to say that I finally managed to run a server on Hamachi and play with some friends. However, there's something I need to tweak. Failing armor/weapon enhancement will result in the item be saved, while default settings should destroy the object. The related command in gameserver.opt is game.enhance_fail_type, actually set to "2". May you please confirm if the default value is "1" ?

New epics R2 to R6 gear are only destroyed at like +12 and R7 at +8 or something close to that. Need my files to say for sure.

Enhance fail type is that when it fails its enhance value is either full or halved from what it was when you repair it.

Hey guys, i got one Question.
I made a NPC which buffs my Char, this works.
and if you use the command /run add_cstate(1001, 30, 6000, "iKameo") my Pets gets buffed aswell, but what should I do to get my Secondary pet buffed as a pet class?

Summon your secondary pet and buff it then summon your main and buff it, do it fast enough otherwise it’s not working
