Are you talking about executing the insert_item code via gameserver? As far as I know it has never worked properly and should not be used at all.

You were talking about "if the account hasn't been activated" if I read correctly. Upon registering a new user you should set the [withdraw_remain_time] column in dbo.Account to a really high value, if that column is higher than 0 it will display a timer, respective to that value, and doesn't allow the user to log in. Then you can set that column back to 0 if the user has activated his account.

Alternatively you could just use the other 2 named columns to keep the user banned until the activation removes the ban from it.

yes , it's that (i think pureadmin or xadmin work like this but don't work for insert_item , just warp buff notice rupee ... )

It has been told that insert_item only work for those characters that have been used with learn_all_skill only, you might want to try that.

I also make this but not working , lvl down my char , no change , set perm = 100 , not working , new learn all skills , not working .

Thanks Legendary , i don't know why , i never have this problem before ( always all skills learned by command or tool ).

For that you must point the auth server to connect to the external IP/port in the AuthServer.opt file.Although having gameserver and auth server in different host is a genuinely a bad idea if you don't have a high end dedicated host.

I am going to talk about the elephant in the room. Then I will answer your question.

Why don't you run one "princess aurora" your auth server on one host then run both game servers on that same host and point both game servers to the same auth server.

Why run two different auth servers?

Or when you say "PRINCE" are you referring to the "Captain"

You need to run "Captain Herlock" for each instance of game server

You point both Captain Herlocks to the one Princess and let us just pretend you never called her a prince and stop confusing us.

Hy all.

I up my question for the insert_item via game_server command or Telnet isn't working (for me) , there is only the insert_item function ( all items, pet cards and summon cards), all other functions ( rupy skills job lvl jp tp warp are working )

i test with and without learn_all_skill and relog chars .

if anyone can help , thanks .

You should really give up on using the insert_item via GS. It doesn't work.

Ok thanks Leqendary , it's really bad .
i think the only way is to create an admin tool using the official gmtool smtp's (need to decrypt them ... the tools i found on the net not working).
