Security Problem/HACKER
hey guys on my pserver I have some douche hacking in our system! The sql db has been passworded and firewall is implemented. he is getting in through gameserver or sumthing and he shoots up notices and messes peoples lvls up bad! Was forced to shut down the server until i can rid him before he makes us wipe! And Arcadia Dev(Ncarbon) Is down so I have no way to get the remote hack fix from them atm! SOMEONE HELP please.

herlock uses a partial implementation (as my understanding is) of a telnet server, and the default password for that is easily obtained by dumping herlock.
add this line to your gameserver.opt file, recompress.

lol dude its hardcoded in exe. also you must be new because yes getting it going is easy maintaining with 100+ people not as simple so until you get some experiance under your belt and realize that everything cant simply be found under the "search" button then maybe you should just not reply to people. There is a weak spot in the Gameserver (herlock) and there is a fix for it, Problem being is the fact its on Ncarbon/Arcadia dev forums but they have been shut down with no explanation so im hoping someone has the remote hack fix and uploads here.

maybe the hacker has a gm account ? did u check the permission of the registered accounts ?

Hey Leute,
als ich damals meinen Account erstellt habe, hab ich bei E-Mail irgendeine Yahoo Email eingegeben, die es garnicht gibt. So nach dem Motto "Wenn ich meine SA mal vergesse, erstell ich mir einfach die E-Mail"
So meim Problem:
in der E-Mail, die ich angegeben habe kommt ein "-" vor, dass gibt es aber garnicht bei Yahoo-Emails. Also kann ich mir keine mit "-" erstellen.
Sagen die mir trotzdem meine SA, auch wenn ich denen ne Fake Email (die ich bei der Registrierung angegeben...

Problem : Norton Internet Security
Hallo Zusammen
Ich hatte lange Zeit einen Hack der hat sehr gut gefunzt.
Nun jedoch hat er keine Updates mehr und ich suche einen Neuen.
Da gibt es eine Menge, jedoch liegt bei mir das Problem anderswo:
Mein Virenschutz Norton Internet Security löscht mir eg immer die .dll-Datei (Betriebssystem XP). Er sagt mir dann Es sei ein Virus, bla,bla,bla.
Ich wollte fragen, ob irgendeiner das Problem kennt, und weiss
wie man es beheben kann, ohne den...

also ich benutze Microsoft Security Essentials , so nun kommt immer eine Fehlermeldung bei der "Viren- und Spyware Definition" , man muss dies aktuallisieren und es wird halt als problem dargestellt.
