but, somehow, cant download the "newmap.rar" and "update.rar" on megaupload and idk why (download not starting after the 45 second wait)

Hallo,

mal ein Post auf Deutsch.

Ich habe mein Server super zum laufen bekommen.

Wollte aber mal fragen ob jemand weis wie ich selbständig die Namen der NPCs ändern kann sodass kein z.B "empty string :43242342" mehr da steht.

Ich habe leider nur spezielle Ahnung von Dekaron Servern.

Rappelz ist neuland.

Ich danke euch für die Hilfe.

In der Db ist eine table mit name dbo.NPCResources!
Da kannst du dirn neuen NPC erstellen.
Namen und Func kannst du ihm via .lua Datei zuweisen
wenn du mehr Hilfe bruahcst, pm me!

Habe mich mal auf die Suche gemacht.

In der Datenbank ( [Arcadia].[dbo].[StringResource] ) finden sich nur die koreanischen Namen, welche so glaub ich, aber durch den Client ersetzt werden können. Das heißt wenn ein Name durch einen englisch-sprachigen Client ersetzt werden wird der auch so angezeigt, ist der Name aber in diesem Client nicht implementiert, so steht da "empty string...".

Mein Fazit, es muss eher am Client liegen als am Server bzw der Datenbank.
Wie bzw wo man dies aber beim Client ändern kann, sry bin ich auch noch nicht dahintergestiegen, hab ja den Sourcecode vom Clienten nicht

wenn du Microsoft SQL Server Managment Studio benutzt, dann wie folgt:

Datenbank [Arcadia].[dbo].[ItemResource] öffnen und in der Spalte 'price' den Preis ändern, der aber in der Datenbank [Arcadia].[dbo].[MarketResource] (für die Shops) nochmals angepasst werden kann (ID vergleichen!!!) in der Spalte 'price_ratio' (für rupees) oder 'huntaholic_ratio' (für holics)

English is the best language for development because of its' wide reach. Do you see a lot of Chinese, French, Chilean or Icelandic with basic German skills? Everyone at some point or another is exposed to English simply because it has worked its' way into other countries cultures and daily lives (even if it is not their country's official language or native tongue) - be it through advertisements, websites, friends, teachers, movies, songs or any of the other hundreds of possibilities.

Development of this server should be completed in:
-Legible English-language posts
-Proper grammar
-Usage of spoiler tags when posting screenshots or large chunks of data

The result: A project where people can understand each other with crystal-clear clarity and find the information they need fast and efficiently.
