We're all familiar with how the speed gets knocked down 20 MPH when the nos ends. Is it possible to allow the cars to reach their true maximum speed without using nos? If that were made, nos would only be a means of acceleration and not more top end.

I think of that top speed extension as an overdrive the car gets put into while the nos is in effect

Well, seeing that the cosmic nitrous is just the "nos_top", wouldn't be possible make the nitrous something upgradeable, like induction, engine, etc?

I noticed that when in the highest gear (for example 6th gear in Nismo Z-Tune), the RPM won't go higher than the car's redline - 500 unless you use nitrous. For the Z-Tune, it will only go to 7500. When you use nitrous, it continues to increase to 8000 which is the car's actual redline. Maybe it's connected to the 'extra' top speed when using nitrous?
Sadly I could not find any values in VLT Ed or GlobalEd that could change it.
That aside, has anyone figured out how to add extra gears to a car? (I mean, add a 6th gear to a car with 5 gears, or a 7th gear to a car with 6 gears etc.)

As of now, it does extend the speed of the car, but that might not be an addition of the car's true top speed. A car might be set up so that it can only reach its true top speed through nos as if a speed barrier was on it. If that were so, that barrier could be removed, and we could have cars with higher natural top speed. The reason of this speculation of mine is because of how the speed gets suddenly lowered when the nos ends which indicates some sort of speed restriction. Do you see my point?

Improved Performance NFSW
Some time before i've readed about to mod the performance of all cars in NFS... So i tried to edite some cars with VltED, having good results... At the time, i have 6 six cars improved in Top Speed, Acceleration and Handling...
Veyron top speed now is 407 kp/h (253 mph) in stock
CCXR Top speed now is 405 kp/h (251mph) in stock.
Both cars increase their speed by only 15 kp/h fully upgraded, being their handling and acceleration affected in real more than the speed.
Dodge Viper SRT10, Audi R8 4.2 FSI Quattro and BMW M3 e92 have better handling and acceleration , and an updated global performance talking about numbers in statistics. Obviusly this is just for fun, no bad intentions or favoritism, my real objetive is no more than that, a real performance for all the cars and trying to enjoy new parameters, combining arcade and simulation qualities.

ok so i managed to make (card at te end of race for pursuit) but i can't find:
"For basket data (ex. NFSW-XXXXXXXXXX.xml) you must edit the source code (NfswBasket.java -> processBasket)."
beside that where can i find this id's,hashes,names or whatever their called so i can replace them :

Can't do it this. Because you can't add value for 6th or 7th gears for cars because does exist entry value. Only edit. In NFS World all cars which have 7th gear are slow acceleration in comparison with good cars with only 6 gears. I didn't try, but i think can work to remove 7th gear from cars and make with only 6 gears.
