unless you mean python or something, I am playing on Beta 1.8 update 2 only, have not added anything to it.

I did the map exchange later on, but just using the supplied Beta 1.8 with zero addons my game crashes every few mins.
Just driving in free roam.

Edit reinstalled Python and still have issues.
Every few mins the game crashes with the error code 13.
Win 7 64 bit.
going to try to install on a win 10 laptop and see if it works on it.

Edit, wont even work on win 10 for me, the start server just counts down from 15 to 1 and nothing happens but a popup box "process has exited"

Every time I try to start the server, I get a dialogue box saying "Process has exited, so the requested information is unavailable." How do I fix it?

For the life of me I simply cannot get NFSW to run on my windows 7 64 bit laptop either, I have the same problem as you. Thankfully its not such a big deal for me though as it works on my desktop.

So I just won a "Elite Miscellaneous Part". It's a performance part and it has a little T2 icon next to it (Tier 2). It's not a specific part, its a little box icon.

I bought what I remembered was a Tier 2 car to test if it I could equip it somehow but it doesn't do anything.

Just thought I'd post about it incase its a bug or something. But overall, the game is pretty much done. I'm enjoying the hell out of it

EDIT: I've also noticed that some races do not give me cash at random times even though the cash and rep rewards screen shows me receiving cash.

Here's a little troubleshooting:

• Make sure your firewall is disabled.
• Make sure your antivirus is disabled.
• Make sure you did NOT change anything in the server.
• Make sure you have installed Python following the link in the readme.(python 2.7.10x86) Then, installed the Python following the readme.
• Make sure you did NOT touch Python after installing it.
• Make sure you are NOT using an operating system that's from 2001 and had its last update 7 years ago.

Thank you for the advice, I disabled my antivirus (Avast) and now 1.8 works very well, also with powerups and without crashes for the "exit". Now this version 1.8 works very cool on my "old" XP

Sorry, but I don't agree the "old" XP is still at the 2nd place of users in the planet (after Windows 7), I was able to play very well the original NFSW online, and very well the NFSW offline 1.7 (and now also 1.8 update2). So, as I said in another post, I hope you would like to support XP also for the next versions offline and especially if we will have some day again MP online

Game still crashes on win 7 and wont load on win 10 as it times out.

I tried all of that before hand.
Something else too, after closing out the game, the server editor stops responding and I have to force close it and both CMD windows remain open and I have to manually close them as well.

Not complaining just explaining the bugs I am having.
The game crashes with the code 13 message after about 5 mins of play, no matter what season I use, firewall/antivirus off or on.

Man, I never had a single issue with the previous versions, no clue what to do now.

I don't get it eather, I am 100% sure that 1.8 would work fine on Win7, unfortunatelly, I upgraded recently for no real reason (I use Windows just for games), server works on my installation of Win10, but powerups does not, I tried everything i could think off and what was suggested on forum here, everything disabled, firewall, SSF, AV, WD, etc. I give up .

IDK why some people seem to be able to play it and others not.
It was working for me, but I edited my last post, it crashes every 5 mins or so, Gems reset to a new location and I have to force close the server editor even if I manually close the game by regular means.

I suppose we just have to wait for a more stable version or just go back to 1.7 for now.

I just don't get it, how some people can play and others not.

I was able to use powerups, but not now either.
