try create a manual shortcut. right click desktop -> new -> shortcut and locate the nfsw.exe. Name it to whatever you want

nah you dont have to, i had the same error cause i didnt understand the powershell commands , i reckon you run the commands through powershell as it seems you dont have a server up

open powershell, paste: (Invoke-WebRequest | python -

once thats finished paste: [Environment]::SetEnvironmentVariable("Path", "$env:Path;C:\Python27\;C:\Python27\Scripts\", "User")

when thats done paste: pip install mitmproxy

HAHAHA i got that same error when i started , run the python 2.7 installer again and select change. When it comes to the components make sure you select: then press next and let it install, then try again

hmm download the java in the readme and when it installs restart ur pc

i meant python 2.7 above xD my bad

I installed Java and restarted my computer. PowerShell still throws the same error for both commands, and I still get fatal errorcode 5. FYI I already installed EZ_Python and mitmproxy but not through PowerShell. Do I need to run those commands every time I start the offline version?
