Just checking before I start editing again.. I can go through all of them but will take some time to check each car to its srv file but I can do it.. let me know how you want to continue with this... I do have a Wedding to attend Saturday and will have my Grand daughter tomorrow for a good part of the day. Not sure how soon you want to get this done!!

I'm having a go at making my own car prices. It is mainly for personal use but I am happy to release it if anybody would like to take a look once i'm finished.

These are some of the basic rules I am following:

E Class cars have a minimum price of $200,000 (Boat cars will usually be sold for minimum price)
D Class cars have a minimum price of $500,000
C Class cars have a minimum price of $750,000
B Class cars have a minimum price of $1,000,000
A Class cars have a minimum price of $1,500,000
S Class cars have a minimum price of $2,500,000

All special cars are double the price of the stock version

I plan to make the Bugatti Veyron $5,000,000 to $10,000,000.

Some cars have set prices, such as the limited edition cars to try and make them valuable and potentially collectable.
E Class limited edition cars are $500,000
D Class limited edition cars are $1,000,000
C Class limited edition cars are $1,500,000
B Class limited edition cards are $2,000,000
A Class limited edition cars are $2,500,000
S Class limited edition cars are $3,000,000

Prices may seem a bit high, but as I said, this was intended for my personal use. Thanks!

EDIT: I would love to know how to set level caps on cars if anybody knows! I would like to lock the Veyron to only be purchased at level 70. Level restricted cars is something I miss the most.

I think I managed to fix the game on my win7, I upgraded it to win10, didnt even have to reinstall anything and the game been running for about an hour now with zero error 13 messages.

Um, guys? Can you actually install the newfangled things aeroaqua found?

I get an error 'support for this product has not been added yet' and nothing happens, at least not in garage.

Insta-edit: But I see the effect and the female driver in free roam, yaaay!

Means you won't be taken any cash for those parts, they are not actual neons so game doesn't register them in the shop. It goes to another A/M slot, the SPECIALEFFECTS.(not available in game)

Noted. The <Level> tag will lock the cars accordingly.(it's in the catalog)

Berkay, may I ask what file you use to edit car prices?

I've been using WordPad but it's hell. I keep losing track of what I'm up to and I'm a complete noob when it comes to stuff like this.

I can open the file in Google Chrome and everything is colour coded and a hell of a lot easier to figure out but I can't seem to edit anything using it.

Any advice is appreciated!

EDIT: I don't know if Microsoft Word is a good option but I don't have it and I don't have the money to drop on it right now.

1) Notepad++ is good for editing these files. And with XML Tools plugin it would be better.
2) If you need Office and don't like piracy - use Open Office or Libre Office

1. Pretty print the XML using some online prettifier like:
2. Copy that into Notepad++.
3. Change Language to XML.
4. Do your stuff.
5. Minify the XML using some online minifier like:
6. Copy that into Notepad++.(replace the old one completely)
7. Save.
