That is some nice work there. There's only one thing that's kinda not ok, and that is the Clio's sound. It's a V6, while here it still sounds like a 4 banger. My favorites are the Z-Tune and the XKR. I'd love to have these sounds someday.

Yeah i watch it back now and realise the sound for the clio is wrong. I'll get onto mending that and also some other cars when I have time. Also i think if i upload the attributes.bin file of mine you can replace yours with it and get the sounds i just want to work on it more before i share it. In the meantime if you get VltEd you should be able to play around with the sounds yourself. Thanks for your feedback

That will hurt its ranking abilities, for what my pea brain tells me.
Maybe the domain is not bought from Godaddy is the reason why.
To lazy to actually find out though.

Never the less, the site itself is decent, other than one thing, the auto music.
If you intend on adding more content in the future, switching pages and forcing people to either listen to that song all over again or pausing it, will deter people from the site itself no matter how good the song is.
It hurts the site.

That, I believe involves hacking the EXE of the game itself, or "Meat" of the game and involves other files to be reversed and decrypted and rewritten or something like that.

Having free roam and true police, would be a huge step up, for the offline server that is.
Something I feel may not happen any time soon.

Actually, the thing is that i made the website whit google sites, but i didnt wanted to pay to have a host for it so i just baught a domain name that would easily point it directly there ! (as simple as that)

Also, I actually think that it would be far enough possible to make the cops in free-roam engage pursuit, since in the actual beta of the game before they implemented the map locations to start chases, they were actually doing it before the update in the middle of its life !

the idea would mabe to mess around whit the version of the beta game and implement it over the newest version available ? (so that would be a call to all modders if your interested to play around and see what you can do to help whit the project ! ^^ )

if I wanted to run the game on 2 pc in my home, so as to play against someone, would that be possible?
And if so could someone let me know how? Thank you in advance.

hi, I need help. When the Server Editor asked me to click NFSW, I accidentally clicked the .ico file instead of the application, and now it only goes to windows movie maker when I start up. How do I fix this?

In the server editor folder there is a file called setting.ini, open it with notepad and delete what is in there, then it when you restart the server editor, it will ask for the NFSW file again

I'm gonna ask out of curiosity. Does anybody know if any NFSW file extensions have been cracked and documented already? I'm gonna say right away that when it comes to modding I'm a 99% n00b. All I could mod by myself is music in CrashDay (Which is in .mp3 heheh).

Ok, thanks. I did that, but when it asks to select NFSW, i'm not sure what to select. There is no .exe file specifically named NFSW in the folder, and when I select the game launcher it says "The servers are currently down. Thanks for your patience."

Depending on what OS your using will be in one of these locations and in a hidden folder
From N/A
If you're using XP, by default it's:
C:\Documents and Settings\All users\Application Data\Need For Speed World\Data

For Windows 7
Should be in your C:\ProgramData\Electronic Arts\Need For Speed World\Data\

The folder is hidden so you need to unhide hidden folders, in your control panel go to the folder options and under the view tab select the "Show Hiden Files Folders and drives then you will find the folder located above I listed.

OR you can edit that file mentioned by gamermca to point to the location where the exe would be for your OS

Oh well you most likely have to click show hidden files and folders in your folder settings to find it, you do not use the shortcut to the game located on the desktop.

Open any folder, at the top click tools, then click folder options, then at the top click view, then find the "show hidden files and folders" and check mark it, then click ok to close.

then navigate from "my computer" your drive letter....
Usually this is the path on most computers, yours may vary....
C:\ProgramData\Electronic Arts\Need For Speed World\Data\nfsw.exe

that is what you point the server editor to.
You may just try to copy/paste that into the settings.ini to see if it is the correct path as with most newer computers it is, unless you have winxp, then I do not know that path exactly, but it is close to the same.
However your drive letter may be different, simply open "my computer" to see what drive letter yours is

Edit, GlideImage posted right before me, so yah, there yah go, if you have winxp that is


BTW, do not feel bad, as I did the same thing and pointed it to the shortcut to the game, which is why you get the "servers are down" message.

I wouldn't even know where to begin to do that, but one thing I do know for sure is that the server editor gives everyone the exact same file name to control our profiles.
So that alone means the server editor itself would have to be nearly recoded completely and most likely useless for any type of muliplayer.
Of course I have no idea what I am talking about, just giving info on what I read.

If you do wish to loose your current progress..simply make a copy of your sever editor, use that, upon starting it, change the name, click save, start the game.
If you wish to have only one car and do all that over, DL one of the smaller files off of what berkay shared in the first post, import it in, change the name, start the game, sell the few cars it has.

New Persona.

if you wish, before importing in the GetPersonaInfo.xml, you can edit it, change the rank and pts etc.
I see no point to do that though, as there is no achievement system in the server editor to actually start over and progress the ranking system.

Hi guys. I tried install mitmproxy but I got UnicodeDecodeError. Who know this error's solution? I need a help. I want play NFS World for my old days
