Just... FYI, TCPOptimizer was updated--has been for a while actually. It functions fully with Windows Vista/7. On a side note, even the old version worked* well enough.
*Not all functions were there, but it was still good to go.

I would also like to point out that when users are not on Mabinogi, they should reset their MTU back to 1500... if they don't know what they're doing, bad things may happen. 576 is pretty safe, but I don't really think the throughput would be at its peak. It might be better to warn the users about what they're doing is all. xD

is it posible to disable the pleione engine and therefore reduce lag?

Yea, if you disable Pleione you'll have 0 lag...
Because the game will not work

yes it will work with vista i have it on both my laptop and desktop that run on Windows Vista and it works just fine i got it off some random thread in these forums you just gotta look hard enough

Lowering your MTU could cause you to randomly D/C a lot.
If you have modified your MTU, simply run CMD and type netsh int ip reset in there.
