I'm assuming this DINPUT8 either blocks the send function from working or it hooks pake itself, if it's only blocking send it's only a matter of time before people fix that for themselves.

Personally though I like it how it is, it allows me to use my patcher again and that is all I needed.

As I said, there's nothing game breaking that they can do, without the send functionality.

I also like it how it is, as it allows patching, and lets people carry on researching things in packets :3

Im most interest in harmless patcher than anything else. Can you release simple version of yours or is there way to make mng work with this download?

If you want MNG to work, just open the source, and update the patches.

The reason it doesn't work anymore, is because it cannot find the locations to patch, because of the changes to the client.
I highly doubt MNG is going to magically start finding the patches again, ever.


A better question is WHY I'm surprised that people ask these same questions EVERY time the client undergoes a massive change.

They can't apply past experience to this or something?

I suggest checking out the source code in this release, it's a very good one if you ask me, you can pretty much add anything easily.

Not that anybody cares that I have a problem, nor do I think that I'm not going to get a "the search function is a wonderful thing, yes?" from this, but whenever I start up Mabinogi with everything in pristine condition and everything set up to work, the moment I'm supposed to go to the character select screen I get an error image with the code 0xe904000a. An image link if it would help:

You just updated/installed now nothing works?

Remove crackshield, run the client, let pleione load, quit, put crackshield and such back.


Don't get me wrong, I'd have told you to search if the answer was actually on the board/google.
