about L2walker but I am not your run of the mill noob
like you probly get around here.
I have been trying to get L2walker working on
both an L2J server and a non-L2J server and
so far I have had no luck.
I have tried even different versions of L2Walker all
with the same results.
The versions of L2Walker that I have tried so far
include 10.2.3, 10.6.3, and 10.7.1
On the clientside (L2Walker) the error message
is really less then descriptive and really not
that helpful the error message I get on
L2Walker on all the versions I mentioned above
is. This time I was running 10.2.3 when I the other
versions I also had the L2 Server running
l2asrv.exe which was found in the
Lin2 Exploits, Hacks, Bots, Tools & Macros
section of this board. I found the link
in there.

02:03:31 Link LoginServer Succeed.
02:03:37 ->Login LoginServer Fail.
And before you tell me to RTFM I have been reading
though this forum and been though many of the
manuals and tutorials already so please do not flame
me.

I followd the tutorial here for L2Walker 10.2.3

And I was reading here for the various offsets

I have tried various protocols including
426
481
650
656
660
669
Nothing has worked so far. I know the main two that should work with
a C4 server is 656 and 660. Both servers are definately C4 Servers and
I can login no problems with the offical L2 Client on both servers I was
trying to test this with.
I have had no luck what so ever with L2Walker on any kind of server and
I can't figure out why so I decided to go to the next step and
setup my own server and see if the server side would give me
a bit more information then the client side.
So I got the server setup and running and I could login with
the Offical Lineage II client and everything was going fine so
now I tried the 3 clients again and on the server side
I was getting this error message on the login server.
Again when I setup my local server I tested it with the offical
L2 Client and I could login with no problems. I go to use
any version of L2Walker and I kept getting this error message.
Authed: id:0
Client is not using latest Authentication method. (Min is 0)
I even tried searching for an answer on google.com
and still have not found anything to fix this problem.

Why I am getting this I don't know. But I suspect I am getting
this same problem on the other two servers I was trying to
use L2Walker on.
A hint to the creator of L2walker some better error messages
maybe in order. Something a bit more descriptive to
help people figure out whats going on.
now my Set.ini looks like this. This is only part of it. I have shortened
it up to save space this is the revelvant parts though.
And where I have usernamegoeshere I put my username in there
and passwordgoeshere I put in my password I just removed them
for security purposes
Again I tried multiple protocolversions here and nothing worked.

My Hosts file in
C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\et c
has the following lines in it. Right now
also it is set to connect to my local server
and yes I know how to make it connect
to other servers and what line to remove.
The machine I am testing all of this on
is running Windows XP Professional
Service Pack (SP) 2.

I dunno I am really stuck here I have tried
everything possible to get L2walker to run
and it won't even work right on my local
server that I setup.
The server I setup was an L2J server.

If your wondering what two servers I was trying
this out on they are

Any help you could give me would be greatly
appreciated. Sorry for writing a novel
but I wanted to be detailed in what I have
already done to try and troubleshoot
this problem.
