L2 Divine

I already posted in general discussion but i feel the topic is better suited to this thread.

As some of you might know, the bot L2 Divine is becoming pay to use as of the 1st of Aug.
they are making up some **** about server costs being to much and people taking up too much bandwitdth, but you can see from the way they have structured the bot that they planned to make it p2p as soon as they thought they would get away with it.
and its pretty ridiculous. 5USD/month per l2 account.
ie: if you dual box, thats 10USD/month, 4= 20USD

L2Divine is a really usefull bot that can be used often in servers where walker cannot.
eg:
in servers that use bake ice, in servers that have that gg auth problem that walker cant address, and in servers with highly modified server folders that need that ct1loader to run clients.
you can even use L2 divine to enable play with walker as l2divine can deal with all the gg issues.

for those of you who dont know, the way l2Divine works is you have a l2account that gets authenticated through their servers before the bot will log into the game. this means they effectivly know everyones passwords and usernames, but more importantly, if their server doesnt authenticate your username, you cant play with the bot. (maybe somthing like uncracked walker? i dunno i never used the uncracked version)

i dont have the technical expertise to do this unfortunatly, but if there can be some way to remove the bot's need for authentication or some proxy server that can be connected to to authenticate the usernames, that would obviously fix the p2p problem.

how simple/complicated would a task like that be?
apparently the program is coded in c++ but i could be wrong about that.

if someone is up to the task, they can delegate me to do things (as long as its not too technical) or if it is relatively straight foward, they might be able to direct me to somewhere where i might do it myself.

i believe there would be a lot of people interested in this bot being made free again so thx a lot.

l2 walker works in all servers, just need to overwritte some system files, but works in all servers.

You need to capture the athentification packet sent from the server to the client and analyse it.
then you can make a small program that reproduce this authentification packet.

you can do this by using ethereal for example or other sniffer.

no need for much work... just find a working username (by brute force or you have a friend that pays ... or or or), create a proxy auth server, l2divine connects to that proxy, the proxy replaces your username with that of the working one...

I haven't had a look into l2divine for a couple of months, but i used a similar approach back then to blank out my password that divine sent to their servers...
So if they haven't changed a lot, it should still work.

Why use Divine if you can use walker?...yes it works on anyserver the cracked version ^_^

L2divine is much much much better than l2walker about everything, l2walker has like 70% of the funtionality of l2divine... is faster and easy, buff and skill combat funtionality bettar than l2walker, the only thing that walker slightly can beat l2divine is in scription, and the last l2divine version had it, IG-OOG funtionality, and etc...and i am using l2walker since 2003, but now i'm waiting for a bypass to l2divine
