soo, you select you model, then you go to "revert default layout" (first option on the left sidebar).

then "bp uv edit"

then, on the new window that appeared on the right, press on "uv mesh", and then "show uv mesh"

there is your uv map.
now, if you want to export that map, its another story, if you want that info too, tell it to me

Guys do you have something to edit and add new items to smc.lod?

If not you can try my two small tools. One dump smc.lod to txt file and another backward.



Copy them to Data folder. Make backup of smc.lod. And then run smc2txt it will output smc-dump.txt where you can try to edit / add your new item. When you are done just run txt2smc and it will overwrite smc.lod.

yes, but that is for add new items.

i just reemplaced textures and .bm files into lvl 165 dual sword, soo no need to edit the smc.

just explained what you did, and check up the atached files i put in my other post, and tell me whats wrong

Textures size should be power of two. 512x512 1024x1024 etc. I notice your texture is not. Maybe thats the problem?

You dont have to change uv map. They are usually clamped to 0.0 - 1.0. Just create new image or load new image with size is power of two.

resize to 1024x1024,still all white, T.T

well, isnt any way to export the uv map of the swords, export it to photoshop, draw on it, and save it in tex, all that WORKING?

coz creating textures on cinema would be to hard for me. easyer to take textures of other weapons from lc or other games,and shut cut paste to the sword textures on photoshop.

OK. What happens when you leave original texture lvl 165 dual sword? Is this still white? If not. Then textool is giving ****..

Edit: try this texture -

Edit2: are you sure you are replacing ni_dsword_024.tex in weapons/texture directory?

yes, if i keep orignal 165 sword, all white, getting me crazy, XD

edit:ni_dsowrd_024.tex doesnt EXIST, it must be ni_sword_024.tex

Ahhh.. You must change your polygon name to ni_sword_024. That will resolve everything..

Select your polygon on list and there is in right-bottom corner basic properties.

y select my weapon, the on right bottom i go on atributes, and there in basic, and there thats what ive got:

I told you: ni_sword_024. Of course you save as ni_dsword_024.

well, now i have to try to put correct textures for see. omg, all that for a stupid polygon name i put wrong.
