To be able to act as a moderator, you only need the ability to assert yourself and to interact with people on a human level. Why should I care how many posts he had? For me, that’s not relevant...

That’s only part of the job though. Being able to assert yourself and communicate is the baseline, not the qualifier.
Your argument assumes intent and incentive don’t matter, only communication ability.
Post history absolutely matters because it’s the only objective track record we have and if someone has barely contributed over 12 years and suddenly becomes active almost entirely in sales threads, that raises fair questions about their intent and priorities.
It’s not about raw post count, it’s about how someone has engaged.
Ultimately, it’s like giving someone administrative access in a system where they can influence approvals or visibility, even though their entire history shows they mainly participate in sales-driven activity rather than community contribution. Even if they present themselves well, there’s an obvious incentive imbalance: gaining authority could directly or indirectly amplify their own reach, credibility, or in this case, sales activity.
Or like promoting someone into a gatekeeping role in a marketplace who has primarily engaged as a seller, not as a contributor to the platform itself. Even if they sound competent in an application, you still have to account for the structural incentive for someone in that position to prioritize their own benefit.

While I respect your thoughts as they are honest and your own I want to clarify something here.
I'm not here to be a mod to gain access to sales or anything of that nature. Im not applying to get a edge on anything, im not trying to undermine the system to gain advantage of anything. While I understand why you said this and concerned let me tell you I'm here for the long term, to help Epvp and I enjoy this website, it's community and I want to do more, I want to help anyway I can. If I where to buy something in a sales thread it will be done as per rules, not some way to get ahead.
Furthermore I read what you said and realized that I do agree that I do need some more community engagement in the community I say I adore so much, so that's what I am doing. I became a guardian to help the site, report rule violations and listen to peoples problems while following the rules and since I have applied I have done just that and I will continue to do so. I will serve the epvp community and uphold the rules not undermine it and use bend it to my will, that's not who I am or what I will do.
I want to thank you for your honesty about it and your concerns but please understand I truly want to help this website and the community it serves. I rather show you and gain a chance to show this threw action. I like to prove people that I'm not just talking so maybe I can prove this to you, regardless im telling you the truth and I hope this settles your concerns.

Let me just mention this: This is a general application. The desire to moderate the Black Market forums seems to be of secondary importance here. If we consider Draacox a suitable candidate, we'd assess which area we think is a good fit for him. It's not a given that he'll be assigned to the Black Market. Aside from that, every new moderator must go through a trial period. If we find that moderation is being biased in favor of certain users, it wouldn't be a long-term experience anyway. The risk you mentioned always exists with every candidate - you can only try to read people's minds. Ultimately, when we add new colleagues to the staff, we always give them a certain amount of trust, but we also observe whether that trust is used or abused, and we reserve the right to take action.
I've seen Draco working alongside the team as a Guardian for a while now, and even though I haven't been closely following his work for that long yet, from what I've sseen so far, I honestly think he'd be a great fit for the Mod team.
His reports are consistently solid and well handled, and he's communicative, respectful, and easy to approach. It's always a pleasure talking with him and working alongside him.
From my experience so far, he's reliable, helpful, and clearly puts effort into what he does! I definitely think he has the right mindset, maturity, and professionalism for this position
I wanted to to take a moment to thank everyone who posted, who gave their feedback and spoke their mind. It means alot to me that you all took the time to be honest and posted here. Regardless if it was positive or negative.
i Know draco for a long time before he even applied in elitepvp for being mod he used to help me in my server time to time and he was really good with his work and always honest about it , And his reply maybe looks like AI but he just likes to write a lot even in our chats he used to write a long time messages all the time but thats just him i dont think so he uses AI or anything like that. He is one of the nicest person i've known and always ready to help the community
I’ve only seen good things from Draacox honestly. From what I’ve seen, he’s always been respectful, helpful, and mature when interacting with people in the community.
He already has experience managing communities and handling responsibility, and I think that shows in the way he talks and helps others. He seems professional, calm under pressure, and willing to learn which are all important qualities for a moderator.
I think he’d fit the team well and be a solid addition wherever help is needed.
even if i get banned i don't care, check this :
how after my posting he update his posting, he lure ppl outside the forum to buy things and not keep here when here is black market for accounts , i won't vouch for this one who is posting on almost all threads just to make got impress to become a mod
