Application for becoming a moderator

Hi, my name is slant and I'd like to become a moderator. There are a TON of people attempting to scam on your site, and I am a programmer myself so I can spot a scam-cheat in 2 seconds, I would love to be able to prevent people from wasting their money on these people by banning anyone attempting to scam.
