Backyback (Moderator)
Hello, My name is Jack MacDonald but I am known on this site as backyback. I am Hereby applying for the roll of moderator on the blackmarket trading forums, and in specific to the Infestation trading forum. Although I wish to moderate all blackmarket dealings, I have a love in my heart for infestation trading.
I have been trading here for several years and have built a good reputation as an honest trader and respected member of this community. In recent months an influx of scammers has come into the infestation blackmarket forums which I call home. I have done everything I can to combat this, but I feel as if the moderating team is to small and overwhelmed to accurately deal with these threats. Scammers on this site are taking away the customers from the honest sellers. If something was done to combat this, the elitepvp blackmarket section could grow exponentially.
Over the years I have held some Other Moderator positions and I believe that I am well qualified for the job. I believe that an online community like this should be safe. To make that possible not only do we need to create a safe environment for people to trade, but the rules need to be enforced.
I spend good amounts of time online, mostly managing trading communities on discord and playing some video games. I have built a strong community around me, and with the help of elitepvp have built a good trading business. I am very thankful that elite pvp has given us these forums to allow trading and blackmarket transactions, but I feel that this is at risk. I cant speak for every forum on here, but the ones I am apart of seem to becoming more and more full of scammers. This concerns me greatly because I remember when you could trade on here and not worry too much about scammers. I think that this site is growing too quickly to be able to handle all of the forums, and I would appreciate it if you would give me a chance to help your community grow. Thank you for your time.
