I'm aware of that. Using him getting upset at known, constant trolls is not a reason to deny him a moderator position. If we took that rule then myself and many of the other former mods would have never been 'hired'.

You forgot the 'willing' requirement. I have no interest in moderating this section nor do any of the other qualified members that come to mind. If it ever came down to the section completely dying or me stepping up then I might but we are simply not there and blackmailing me with the future of the section would be.... childish to say the least.

Well, all I see in here are the common trolls of the section, and their followers, going against a suitable member. You guys say Fang's feelings get in the way, and yet, what are you showing in here?
Anyways, you gave your opinion already, there's no need to keep flaming over this application.

why not give him a chance?
me and fang have been fighting like cats and dogs, sometimes i dont agree with him and some times he dont agree with me,
so should i say no just coz we dont agree on the same thing?
we fight allot, and he keeps giving me some help time to time and i got some proofs
there is few other more but to lazy to find them.
my point is dont say no just coz you had some problems with him in the past.
i vote "yes"

I think a "difference in opinions" or "friendly disputation" would more accurately describe what you're referring to. The Conquer Online section here doesn't really have many hostile members; we're more or less here to support each other and build off of each others' solutions.
Anyways, thanks for your feedback. Your English is really improving, keep it up. I appreciate the time you took writing that out. At everyone providing feedback: I am reading your comments very closely, and I really appreciate your time spent in supporting my application. I do hope that I am taken into consideration when a position opens, so thank you again for voicing your opinions. The application has survived its first weekend, so cheers to a new week.

Well, my opinion could be easily invalidated since i'm a very inactive member here(my native language is spanish and i'm not very knowledgeable about conquer nor programming), but i will approve his application, he is a very active member, he knows a lot about C#(the principal programming language used in that section) for what he have showed to the community, he knows a lot about the Conquer Online client(how implement features CORRECTLY, not just make them work is what i mean, useful resources that can be gotten from the client, etc...).
The only time when i see losing some patience is when he is being trolled with apparently no reason, and even in that cases i have seen a not aggresive reply.
and the main reason why i approve this is because the section really needs a moderator

If you aren't an active member here, how the hell would you know if Fang is an active member or not?

So basically you're saying he goes through every one of Fangs post and looks at the date it was posted?
One day someone could log in and look that he's made a few posts that day (which doesn't mean he is active, maybe he was on just that day).

I will say yes. He shows that he can speak a great amount of fluent english, he seems to be active (although I haven't yet checked his posts) and takes criticism towards his application positively.

Im 16 years old and live in Austria.
Now lets getting started with my app:
Well the Conquer Online area especially the private server area is full of Server or Forum Advertisments and there are only 2 active mods around.
Tanel and Emme r doing a good job the other 3 not they are rarely seen.
Im very active and registred since over a year.I know how to handle with people to make them feel good on this...

Why do you want to be moderator? In the Conquer Online forum, there are only three active mods. Hiyoal, Leavemealone and Evan***. All of the other ones have moved on, like DM2000 and a1blaster. I LOVE helping out forums, and informing the newer e*pvpers.
