Moderator Application [Dekaron]

I am 21 years old and i live in the US.

As many people know the Dekaron section desperately needs a moderator. Recently there have been many illegal posts, and threads started in the wrong section. Some of these posts have been allowed up to a week before being moved, deleted, or closed.

I have only been moderator on a forum once for a Dekaron private server. I have been playing Dekaron since open beta, about 8 years or so. So I am very experienced on the game itself. Other than that I feel I am generally accepted by most people, and most people in the Dekaron community will support me to be moderator.

I believe I am mentally prepared to take on the task of being moderator. I understand that there is a level of respect that I must show to everyone, but that isn't something that needs to be changed in my character. As far as stupidy goes, sarcasm is natures defense against stupidity. Although, not everyone deserves sarcasm. For those people that don't, the more stupid it may seem, the more knowledgeable I should be about it. So ill most likely be able to assist anyone that may have questions that seem stupid to other people.

I hope that I am chosen to be moderator and if there is anything else I should add let me know. Thanks

Besides what you have mentioned about the criteria, I think the application is fair, short but fair.

I know the section needs a moderator, and you seem to be suitable, so I'll give you a yes (or I'll give it to you as soon as you get those 7 posts you are missing)

Having spoken to him 1 on 1, I can easily say he would be of great help for the Dekaron community on here. I hope to see his position soon!

I think you need much more experience in this forum. Maybe you are activ in this section, but with 300 posts you need much more experience. From me a no, sorry.

It doesn't matter if you have 300 only. It depends on what you've posted.

Only are your releases, So, For my side you've to be more active to be qualified for the job you'll take. And by the way, Do not think moderating job is just like that, It's annoying

I think he's suitable to work as a moderator. YES from me.

Short applications are fine, I wouldn't need to know about if he has a dog or what his grandma likes to eat, all the important core information is there.

For those who say no because of activity. I agree with you to an extent, but circumstance has it that the Dekaron section is dying. I don't think we have 1 active moderator in this section, not that I've seen.

Also since I am mainly focused only in the Dekaron section, its a little harder to rack up post count, without making useless posts.

Normally I wouldn't have applied with such a low post count, but we need a moderator, and I seem to be the only one willing to take the job

Yes from me.

We do DESPERATELY need an active moderator in the Dekaron section. There is 1 member in particular that is disobeying rules time after time after time even though he has been told multiple times in multiple ways by multiple people that he needs to stop. He still does it.

Not only that, others are doing it too and nothing happens. The topics are still open and fully viewable!
