Actually I have tried this. Remember the Peaceful Mobs and No Mobs cheat? Where one deletes/renames the KOM file while the other edits it? Same principle. nProtect checks the KOM files. And at runtime even!

But I guess YOU haven't tried it either...

Oh my *** this is very useful if it can extract .KOM files. I've yet to try it though.

EDIT: Okay, it works great. You can use this file to disable the message at the end of a game for the stage hack. You can edit monster behaviour, item behaviour, and other things I've yet to experiment.

Hope you guys are right about this. Even though I have already tested this app before I posted my comments, I will try editing other KOM files (though some of the more useful ones are FRM files).

i am referring to more fun playing gc...

but with regards to crucial scripts...

and other extension types inside .kom scripts...

that's another issue...
