HOT!! Shift-Escape-Disconnect "exploit

This trick can be used for two purposes.

1) Solo Base Buster.
On the smaller bases, ride your swoop right through the front door of a faction base. Once inside, immediately Shift-Escape then disconnect. Reconnect. All of the NPC's will stop attacking you and sometimes you wont be agro'd by whats inside if you walk. Proceed to taking the base out without firing a shot.

2) Avoid Dying.
Got 30 people on your tail and dont want to die (useful for jedi). Run into a faction base and shift-escape disconnect.

The best thing about this is when you disconnect, you are IMMEDIATELY removed from the world, there is no LD avatar in game. You simply... disappear.


Now hopefully SOE sees this and fixes it because Im tired of being able to take down bases w/o help and Im more tired of jedi doing it

Yes, but you still cannot take down a base solo if you do not have the right skills... unless you are using something for that as well .

well its still not fixed...

rifleman + 2x cyborg arms +10range = 84m range with rifle...

easy to solo pve bases ... you can first shoot the turrets and then all those guys ...

works for rebels and imps...

and they cant hit you ... because the turrets are stuck to 64m and the npcs dont get aggro ... they are just triggered if you stay in the 64m radius

No, what I mean is that even if you can take out all turrets and NPC's, you still cannot take down the base unless you also have the right bh, be, commando, and smuggler skills as well.

really...? hmm i thought thats just for Special Forces PvP Bases...

afaik you can take the PvE Bases Solo down

Nope, I am trying it now, and it says that I need to have all those skills. PvE bases are just like PvP bases.
