Because of recent successes by the Society of Anarchists in hacking Mr. As, Jick has changed the way they are distributed. He now creates all Mr. As and transfers them to the account Mr A Bot (#1699272) so that he can assign each one a distinct identification/verification number and ensure that only one Mr. A corresponds to each number (in the past we hacked mr. as by fooling the system into creating multiple mr. as with the same number). After the Mr. As are created, they are distributed by the normal system (simply appearing at rollover), but Jick creates far more Mr. As than necessary and simply stockpiles them in the account, making it possible to get them from Mr A Bot itself.
If you want one, just send a message to Mr A Bot with no text in the body and an amount of meat calculated below:
Add together the day number and month number of today's date (for example on August 23, you add 23+8 and get 31 for January 1, you would add 1+1 and get 2). Next put in 194 (the item number for a mr. a). Finally, you have to calculate a check digit by adding together all of the number you already have and then taking the digit from the ones place (so for august 23, you would already have 31194 and 3+1+1+9+4 = 18 so the check digit is 8). Thus for August 23, the proper code is 311948. You will receive a Mr. A at rollover of the day you send the message.
