New WAR Beta Client

Yesterday the upload of the client was finished, so i counld finally make a torrent.

You can (hopefully) download it here:


I'm not sure if its working (hope it is), since it's my first torrent to create.

If something doesn't work right, let me know.

P.S. Don't except wonders in download Speed, my upload speed is kinda low (~20-24kb/s max (=192 kBits, **** T-Online))

Damit mal schon mal vorab mit den Clientfiles spielen kann, Tools schreiben zum entpacken/anschauen der *.myp Dateien und Datamining für künftige Datenbanken (sei es nun für n PServer oder für eine Fanpage die alle Skills/Items, Informationen etc. auflisten will) und dann zum release eine möglichst umfangreiche Datenbank steht.

Der Client is nutzlos für Leute, die das Spiel ausprobieren wollen. Es ist halt für Leute gedacht, die den Client auseinander nehmen wollen.

Natürlich nur im Sinne der Wissenschaft *hust hust* .oO(Wers glaubt *g*)

Anyone know, if you can set up uTorrent so that it will priorize the rare chunks?
Now that it's close 3/4 of the client is seeded, the other 1/4 goes very slowly cause uTorrent seems to upload chunks which are already available from the other peers, instead of the rare/unseeded ones.

Sorry guys, i understand something in german lenguage but i have hard times to write something.

First, thank you for client, today i finished downloading.. But question is the **** MYP files. Is here anoyne who is working on tool to unpacking these files?

I think if i would access to these files, i can make VERY simple first model viewer.

Well, there are at least two almost finished tools i am aware.

Only problem, we both have: We can't unpack the files with their original names, since there is no information inside the myp files. The other guy, who also has an account here on ePvP, has some debugged ASM code from the HashString function, which is used to create the hash but until now, he couldn't port it to C#.

Well, if we could port that function to C/C#/whatever, it would be possible to calculate that hash. It could be used, to create a dictionary file, which contains all hashes to known filenames, which should make it possible to get 80-90% of the filenames and directory structure when extracting. Until then, our tools can only unpack files without names (i.e. enumerating them with a default extension). Hardly usefull, especially for data mining since it's harder to determinate what the file is containing without knowing it's name.

Ähm eine Frage. Desy schrieb das der Client nutzlos ist für Leute die das Spiel spielen wollen, meine Frage wäre nun: Wenn ich einen funktionierenden Username & PW für die alte US Beta habe, kann ich dann mit dem neuen EU client etwas anfangen?

Ich hab nämlich das Problem, dass sich mein client nicht mehr patchen lässt und ich finde einfach keinen inoffiziellen US client mirror. Wäre super wenn mir jemand weiterhelfen könnte, schonmal danke im Vorraus.

PS: Um Fakten zu klären ich habe an der US beta teilgenommen bis sie den Server runtergefahren haben und habe nur Username & PW für den client selbst von nem Freund bekommen der aufgehört hat.

i kno 2 guys from the older mythic game, daoc, who works on that emu...they started breaking the encryption, but before they got far, the beta ended and they had to pospone that work. they will prolly resume when they can get their hands on a beta acc for next phase

Edit: No wonder I couldn't find anything "Warhammer Online" on TPB, you have named the torrent "Warhammer: Age of Reckoning".. Don't forget the "Online" part. It doesn't read anywhere on the description either, add it somewhere, so the search finds the torrent as a result for a WAR query.
