many great and creative programmers made E*PVP to what it is today: A huge platform for sharing bots, hacks and botting/hacking-knowledge.
Most tools hosted on E*PVP arised to gain advantages, to decrease own activity without falling behind or to take care of ugly and boring activities like farming in games.
However even when bots had have a bad reputation for years in the last decades due to their "harming" nature (e.g. Bot-Networks, Videogame-Bots, ...), this bad reputation is changing to something positive.
Microsoft CEO, Satya Nadella, called bots "the future", when he recently said:
This rethinking mainly happened because of huge progress in the field of Artificial Intelligence (= AI).Quote:
Bots are the new apps, [...]

Bots are no longer limited to automate "easy clicking things" but are playing highly complex games better than humans have ever been so far.
A good example of an intelligent bot is the latest bot of Google, called AlphaGo, which beats the world "Go"-champion:
Another good example of an intelligent bot is "Cortana", a bot developed by Microsoft, which helps you to organize yourself, find routes from A to B or just automates some daily things without even touching your phone.Quote:
Global Go fans were shocked, artificial intelligence experts called the moment historic and Google DeepMind CEO Demis Hassabis compared the victory to landing on the moon.

There is no doubt left: Bots are powerful tools, not only for automating simple games but also for doing complex activities.
This may also be the reason why slowly but steady many companies are getting interested in bots more than ever.
Google, Apple, Microsoft, Facebook and Co. are no longer the only players in the field of artificial intelligence and botting.
Also smaller companies want to get in touch with the possibilities, bots offer and try to use them for something that sets them apart from competitors.
Everyone is trying to achieve this on an other way. Some are searching actively for experts to hire and others try to train already hired programmers.
"Telegram", a company known for their messenger-app of the same name, lately tries some other way. They want to get bots by promising money:
This promise seems interesting enough to try to create a hell-good bot for telegram and who could create a better bot than a community, which specialized on building bots?Quote:
Good news, everyone! This year, Pavel Durov will be giving away one million dollars to bot developers in the form of grants starting at $25,000 each. All you need to do to be considered is create an impressive bot using our Bot API. What do we want in return? Nothing. That's right, just support your creation and make your users happy.

Some areas you may want to focus on: integrations, tools for bot builders, AI stuff, and natural language processing, although your bot may do something altogether different. Surprise us!

I guess you slowly see the point:
We want to participate in this competition by working together to create a bot the world (or at least we) will never forget!
What We offer:
- A project where you are able to learn how to work together most efficient and how to solve human failure
- Meet new people
- The best opportunity to get in touch with basic AI stuff as I (Shadow992) will take care of everything and everyone by offering some basic "tutorials" regarding AI
- There is no need to participate until end, just feel free to join and leave us whenever you want to
- The possibility to be part of the project from the very beginning to the very end: Starting by finding a good idea, followed by the implementation and ending by the money distribution (if won)
- Do what you want to do: If you are not interested in AI stuff, you can do plenty of other things (e.g. managing community, implementing some apis, cleaning up code, testing code, ...). Only do things you really want to do!
- Democratic driven decisions! No matter what me or someone else is saying: The democracy will win!
Do you feel attracted by this thread?
Then just join us and help in creating something BIG!
What We are searching for:
Of course we are searching mainly for programmers. But all guys are welcome, even if you only want to be up-to-date what we did so far, just join us.
What would be good to have:
- Some decent programming skills, especially in creating bots
- Some basic HTTP/HTTPS knowledge (as it seems like Telegram-Api uses HTTP/HTTPS requests for communication)
- Some good ideas
- Money should not be your only intention to participate (as there is no guarantee for beating the competitors)
But as already mentioned, just feel free to contact us!
The first contact will be made in this forum by sending me a private message.
Just send me a few information about you and the reason why you want to participate (in english or german only).
I am really looking forward to come in contact with you!
Edit:
If you want to make any suggestions, have questions or similar, post them here please, so everyone can read the answer.
