How to make good program?

I have got big question. I want to start programming in C++ and how do you think? whick program is the best to programming? for now I have installed CodeBlocks and I'm learning how to use it from very good tutorial. but I want to know something from from experienced developers.
so pls help me

what about microsoft visual studio?
if u don't want to pay and/or just check it out, download the express edition its smaller and faster.
