Just a few days ago, we reported about an insider who was spreading rumours concerning the announcement of a Battlefield 4 successor during the upcoming E3. Whilst there was no substantial information available back then, people found data, which reinforced these assumptions, on EA's servers. Not only images with the label "Battlefield Hardline" have been found, a code analysis has also revealed some more details. Accordingly, two new game modes, called "Blood Money" and "Heist" are going to be featured in the game. The competing teams won't be the USA, Russia or China, instead, they're going to be called "THIEVES" and "SWAT". Aside from a renaming of the classes known from previous titles in "Enforcer", "Mechanic", "Operator" and "Professional", one has also found evidence of a possible return of the commander mode. A list of all the available weapons can be found here.
After a lot of information had been spread, EA confirmed that they're actually working on a new series within the franchise, called "Battlefield Hardline".

As mentioned in the announcement, this part of the Battlefield series won't be developed by DICE. Visceral Games, a studio which is known for the "Dead Space" titles and was also involved in the development of games such as "The Godfather" and "Dante's Inferno", is the one in charge of "Battlefield Hardline". For now, one does not want to share more information, yet promises that the game will be revealed on June 9th, 2014.
And now it's your turn. What's your opinion on the flood of information on the upcoming title?
