Whilst developer Valve has still not commented on an upcoming Half-Life 3, Min Le, who has worked on the popular online shooter "Counter Strike", didn't seem to have a problem talking about concept art of the Half-Life universe, which supposedly confirms a revival of Freeman in the third part of the ego shooter, in a twitch interview. Even though the Canadian-Vietnamese developer with the nickname "Gooseman" has not worked for Valve in quite some time, he seems to have found out a lot about Half-Life 3 and Left 4 Dead 3. By saying that Left 4 Dead 3 "looks great", he has confirmed the development of the title. At the beginning of the interview, he's joking frankly about seeing "a laser sight aimed at his head", but he's praising the zombie apocalypse successor:

"You know, the one thing I'm really excited about is Left 4 Dead, the new Left 4 Dead. I saw it, it looks great. I was really excited when I saw that, I was like "wow, this looks great". Cos I really enjoyed Left 4 Dead, it was just one of those games that really just changed the industry. I think at the time there wasn't many good co-op games, so yeah, this is a great co-op game."
"But yeah, I mean like I guess I could say that I did see something that looked kinda like in the Half-Life universe. And I mean it wouldn't surprise anyone if I said they're doing it, they're working on it, yeah. So to go on a limb I’d say I did see some concept art for Half-Life 3. [...] It seems like old news by now, I think everybody knows it’s being worked on."
There has not been any official announcement of either of the mentioned titles, so Valve might not be all that happy about Le's statements. The complete interview has been published on Twitch and is about an hour long. At minute 34, he starts talking about Valve's games. Le is currently part of the team which is working on the online survival game "Rust".
