Hab’s gesehen für den Moment ganz cool Ergebnis fand ich persönlich Flop hätte doch vielleicht mehr map change erwartet außer looty...

For 2 seasons now and then the game freezes me while I play for a few seconds and I do not know what is due. My computer has an Intel Core i7-7700K processor and I'm going with a 1060 of 3GB. That is to say that I would have to work perfectly since I fulfill all the requirements. The game itself is pretty good from FPS to <120 and I have a quite optimal configuration (everything to the minimum minus the textures and the distance of vision that took it to high). I have tried to uninstall the game and reinstall it and it remains the same. Would you know what is due?

Have you ever clicked on "optimal settings" in the game? Did that change anything?

I've got the almost same problem since several seasons I guess. I quit the game mid season 4 and until then everything worked fine with my old gpu. Then i just upgraded my gpu to rtx 2080 and tried Fortnite mid season 6 again and it was horrible. Actually I tried to play on 1440p and quiet nice settings since the gpu should handle this game easy af, but everything was kinda stuttering. There are drops from kinda stable 200 fps to 20 fps when I look around or sth. and even in Tilted Towers the frames are dropping down to 70 fps.

For now I just went down with the settings, playing on stretched resolution 1440x1920 and everything on low except for the view distance just to get the stable 144 fps locked. But except for Tilted Towers, because even with these low settings the frames are dropping down to 80 fps there.

I've no clue what's wrong. Like other games are working absolutely fine on 1440p and ultra preset settings, but somehow Fortnite won't. I also tried to reinstall the game on several drives/ssd's.
